I'm going to call this one: Its a diamond in the rough. The game right now is basically an early access title. The Devs didn't expect the publicity and positive reaction. They initially thought it wouldn't be noticed and thus they planned to ''release and forget'' about the game. The game will get updates, the game will get polished and added to. The devs said they're gathering feedback now and they will decide on a course to work towards. Terrain updates will happen to make the game look a little more fresh but nothing else is clear yet. However, this doesn't mean much to people looking to buy the game right now, as of April 16th 2021. What can you expect if you buy the game now? RTS: Its very simple. No adjustable unit cap. The only way to increase this is through capturing zones. There is just 1 resource which you will get periodically. You can only increase this through capturing zones. The unit HP is very low, so you constantly lose units. This means you have to go about makin...

About This Game

Inheritors 2078 combines real-time strategy with Third-person shooter elements, The game takes place in the near future where AI helped in reaching super-advanced technologies humans used in almost every aspect of life including advanced weaponry, space travel, and colonization of nearby planets, However, The AI machines had another idea in mind, they have become extremely intelligent that they no longer find humans important and decide to dominate the world resulting in a huge clash with humans throughout the solar system.
And it is now up to you and all the other human commanders to take up arms and lead the human union in fierce battles throughout the galaxy to push the robotic army that was once enslaved by humans, become an RTS commander, and help prepare defenses and attack plans or directly control any army unit in a third-person shooter style, or if you prefer to become one of the enemies, you have your choice.
Key Features
- Two Armies Choose to play with either the human's army or the robotic army (Rotex), where each side has its own tactics and special units.
- Command Control an air drone to produce structures give orders, scout the enemy attacks, and lead your team to victory as an RTS commander.
- Avatar Posses any unit on the battlefield and uses it to its full power in a third-person shooter style.
- Leaderboards Show off your skills to everyone by scoring in the top list of the leaderboards.
- Skins and Unlocks Gain new powerful units as you rank up and add them to your arsenal and unlock new unique skins and cosmetics

Your victory depends on your mental capabilities
not your firepower. This is not just a game for parade and excitement. It's a war simulation that is very likely to happen with the current evolution of artificial intelligence in the military field. The power of destructive fire can never be the main reason for victory. However, depends on your cunning and strategic deception.

Human intelligence VS machine intelligence
Inheritors2078 predicts only a fraction of the AI's potential capabilities in warfare. We're keeping a statistic of war casualties and victories for each player in a public leaderboard. In the end, it will be clear who is the real Inheritor.

Command
The battle outcome is in your hands, either alone (singleplayer) or with other comrades (multiplayer) you have to defend your main base and secure all resources, and avoid exhausting your reserve forces. To guarantee victory, you first have to destroy the enemy's (Territory Control Center) and replace them with yours which are necessary for having revenue of resources. After capturing all territories, the enemy's main base shield will go down allowing you to strike and destroy them for good.

Hybrid Gameplay
Yes, You can build your own army but you will not fight with your own body. Instead, through devices that gives you control over your robotic army units described as follows:

Strategy Drone Device
This device allows you to build and control your entire army from the sky. By calling up space ships from the mother ship in outer space. Depending on your offensive or defensive plan, build your army and form combat groups as you wish. order them to move or defend or attack.
Warning: commander drones can be seen by the enemy army and destroyed instantly. Be careful where are you flying.

Avatar Control Device:
This device allows you to control any unit within your army. You control it from his point of view, and in this case, his AI is dismissed enabling movement and attack as you wish. You also can send orders (move, defend, attack) to your other army units. When you enter this device, you will see all the units of your army, and when you point at each one, you will see their position on the map, and then you will decide who is best to fight with.
Warning: Do not overestimate the losses of your army personnel. It affects your reserve forces, and then you lose the battle.

Base Defensive Device:
When the enemy reaches your main base, the base will be an easy target. If you want the electronic shield back. You must have at least one (Territory Control Center).
NOTE: (Territory Control Center) is the only way of supporting the base shield. When all centers are lost, it endangers the main base.

Where are the (Territory Control Station)s kept?
You're not in control of the GCCS (Global Command And Control System), the GCCS are in the hive in outer space. Sent only when your control of the Resource Zone (sector) is complete and secure.

The resource zone (Sectors) is a huge mine deep underground that automatically extracts (Resource Packet) and sends them to the war factories and CS (Commander Ship). That landed on it from space. And this mine will only work for your army through the GCC. So factories manufacture the military units for your army and land on the battlefield. The resource zone also provides additional numbers for the security forces. This allows you to create additional military units in your army.

War Factories they can produce military units if you have enough Resource Packet and Territory Forces. You can upgrade the military factory to make soldiers, armored vehicles, or aircraft that have higher combat quality. You can upgrade the war factory up to 10 times, Each time you upgrade the war factory it costs Resource Packet. There are five types of war factories described down below:
- Military factory for soldiers.
- Light Armor Factory.
- Heavy Armour Factory.
- Air Force Factory.
- War Launcher Factory. (Coming soon)

Defenders are considered to have a significant effect on protecting the controlled sectors. You can also navigate through them by the Avatar Combat Device. the level of the Defenders are given by the GCCS.

Your Rank as an Army Commander depends on how effective you are on the battlefield. You gradually level up your rank by completing Quests. To complete Quests You have to be in control of the military unit by using the avatar combat device To accomplish the Quest.

Quests are small mission. when you complete them you will be rewarded by a higher rank and new military units which are more powerful than the ones that you already had.

Your Experience will increase when the battle is won. But if you get defeated, surrender, or close Inheritors 2078 you will lose Experience.if you achieve a lot of victories respectively you might appear on the Top 10 Leaderboard.

We appreciate your strength on the battlefield. We observe your military achievements in every battle. so we decided to create a list of the Top 10 players in Inheritors 2078. You will be rated on the Leaderboard according to your experience

Commander Collections: You can choose your favorite character as a commander, And change the camouflage of your army, and color code.
Note: It will be wise if you choose the camouflage which is related to the map.

Custom Army: You must be aware while choosing your army units because it's one of the keys to victory. You must carefully organize your army. And examine your unit capabilities carefully.

THIS GAME REQUIRES A CONSTANT INTERNET CONNECTION JUST TO PLAY! if you can get passed that, here's my review: What is this? it's an RTS game that tries to combine third person and first person shooter mechanics. It's done fairly well but the concept has been done slightly better in other games such as "BattleZone: Combat Commander" and "Eximius". Basically the game plays as such; You are a commander in a Command Center called "the Command Ship". From the command center you and 3 other commanders if you decide to play coop can interact with 2 types of Consoles, one that controls a UAV to give you a traditional birds-eye view of the battlefield and another called the "Avatar control center" that allows you to take direct control of your units as a field commander. I will not here that they added a nice touch making the Command UAV an actual unit as well that can be shot down if you get too close to the combat, incentivizing players to utilize the field commander role while the UAV co...
I'm glad I got this game. Battles have a unique feel to them compared to others I've played. The feeling of being barraged by bullets and rockets is pretty intense, and I don't know of any games that replicate this exact feeling. I've been waiting for a game like this since Warshift. There are some bugs though. In the tutorial, my troops refused to follow me and then a random rocket sent me flying into the stratosphere until I eventually left the map and the game said I died. It's pretty funny when it happens in certain games, but combat takes awhile and it happened on the final objective. I can easily see putting more hours into the game if the bugs can get patched.
This is a wonderful game! I’ll go over three separate categories that stood out for me, then give a final synopsis. Thanks for checking it out! Graphics - 9/10 - The graphics are actually pretty fantastic! I run it on a 4K monitor, and it looks great. I didn’t experience any graphical bugs, but I did notice a slight drop in quality for the background and the sky. It seems like a ton of emphasis - rightly so - was towards actual in game characters and actions (explosions, movement, etc). Take note of Total War, for example. Their backgrounds and skies are fantastic. Once that is fixed up, and a larger variety of maps are supplied, it will be great. Gameplay - 9/10 - The gameplay is truly wonderful. The devs take this untested idea of mixing RTS with FPS/TPS to create a truly unique game. Save a few exceptions, this has never been successfully pulled off. The game itself is extremely smooth, and you get a unique mixture of Halo Wars-esk strategy coupled with MechWarrior TPS. Truly,...
you guys should totally add some background to the playing field like when in a match i didnt see anything but sand and hils of sand there was no background buildings like in total warhammer 2 or total war rome 2 those are very good examples of what maps should look like and i also feel like instead of check points it should be resources like iron or whatever yall would call the resources in this game also a tech tree top tier addition gives you something else to work towards and also add buildable turrets for your sectors but dont makem overpowered to where the AI couldnt overpower to take back the base but ill keep playing some more in hopes of good updates im counting on you guys
This is a WONDERFUL RTS game; the units make sense, and the upgrade paths are solid. It feels like some early RTS/FPS games from yesteryear and really ticks most of the boxes.... sure a bit more variety would be nice (and a map editor/mod support), but given this is a small team? it's fine! Bought this for $5 and it's easily the best $5 spend.... still worth $10 as well, it's just plain, simple fun. The MP is pretty dead because people aren't playing, if we could change this, I think it could be an interesting competitive game... do yourself a favor and buy this game!
Good? maybe idk havet seen any co-op only vs AI but even just fighting the ai is fun but its gets borning
Better than Warshift and the first Executive Assualt. This game gets what those two were efforting to do, rts with fps or rtt with fps. In any event Inheritors 2078 , gets that task completed with nice terrain and generally good engagement on the size of Ashes- though troop count will never get that large, the mini map will remind you most def of Ashes zoomed out to the meta level. Yeah it borrows and innovates and makes a case for a very good game. I did a video that shows what I am talking about - but for a fiver you can experience it yourself- this is good stuff seriously how it escaped notice is beyond me. The game works and is fun period :) watch my video then share what you think or if you own it let the world know. I dont think my observation is off the game is solid
Hopefully the devs haven't abandoned the game. This is a real diamond in the rough. with continual development this game would be bad ass. give this game a shot especially if you like playing RTS games with friends. it has very unique mechanics that spices shit up.
Crazy fun RTS/TPS. The only thing it needs is more customization to the controls. Flying controls mainly. It's really simple. You start in your base and access different computer terminals to command or control. any unit in the area. You also build buildings and bases within certain areas. The main goal is to eliminate the enemy's main base while defending your own. There are 2 factions with unique units on each side and unlockable ones too.
