So a short time playing, and immediately there's something that's annoyed the hell out of me with this game. - If it's not been compiled against Linux, don't market it as being supported on it. This is built on Unity so there should be no reason you've not compiled a linux version, if you've not specifically leveraged Windows specific functions. More about the gameplay: The 3D 4K tack is far to narrow on a 1080P display, which strains to look at it. Using Musynx as an example, the track almost goes the full width of the screen, which makes it easier to follow. The UI needs some love and attention. It's not the most sleek of systems, and it feels almost "cobbled" together. I'm aware that this is an early access game, so it would make sense that there's still work that needs to be done. Since I'm using the Steam play option, running it through proton 5.0, I've already had the game lock up exiting a beatmap, and going back to the main screen. It's also slightly clunky, which means it ...

I stumbled across lynium when i was looking for a new rhythm game to play. I was definitely sceptical at first, however i'm really glad i got it. I find the game really throws you in at the deep end, it gives you a quick tutorial saying to just press buttons and then you start. The controls are quite challenging to get used to, however easy to pick up with practise. I've really enjoyed progressing from not being able to hit a double note to getting pretty good scores in the matter of hours and i've been hooked on it since download. I see really big things in the future of this game, its really fun and addictive. Well done to the developer who did this all on their own by the way- its impressive!

Not a game I play a lot of by any means, but it's a nice game to play every once in a while to relax when I need a break from playing other games. Lately I've found myself enjoying a lot of rhythm games like Muse Dash, Osu and a few others. I've found myself enjoying this game the most though, as I've been opening it up almost every day and playing a little bit here and there. I'm not good at rhythm games by any means but I still enjoy them. Lynium has a Learning curve, and compared to other rhythm games, it's a bit different considering it's still new and in early access but very enjoyable. The initial controls for the game are a bit awkward at first but I was able to change them to be more comfortable for myself. I haven't tried the multiplayer or making a beatmap yet but the game feels nice. Like a fully finished game! I hope the developer is enjoying the game and enjoying making the game as much as I enjoy playing the game!

The menu is rough, and the beatmaps don't seem to flow very well. Looks like it could be very promising though later on.

This game definitely has a steep learning curve. The songs are mostly unknown and in languages other than English so you kind of have to learn the song at the same time as you learn the beatmap. The default controls are not common-sense, but you can change the keybinds which is nice. I guess I must just not be good at games because I found 98% of the songs far too difficult to even bother with, so I'd love to see (in future updates) some more songs on the easier side for newbs like me. Another thing I would looooove to see is the ability to create maps to songs in your library or on Spotify. EDIT: YOU CAN DO THIS! Under 'create' > 'file' > 'new'. It will import your song and then analyze it, but it's up to you to make it accurate! Overall, really pleased with this game and I see a lot of potential! If you like DDR you will love Lynium.

Concept is great, but very few songs. The biggest problem of all though, is you CANNOT calibrate, meaning there is no way to make the beatmaps lineup with the music. Makes it literally impossible to play. Calibration is an absolute must for any rhythm game.

I have a very good pc that can take ALOT. 150FPS and pc almost went nuclear after 2 minuets. Didn't even know it was possible to torture my pc to this degree after only 2 minutes.
