Cute story with 3 routes for a casual evening read if you enjoy mysteries with romance. The soundtrack is lovely, I enjoyed the tracks.

About This Game

The Last Act is a mystery-romance visual novel about a young woman named Sarah, who aspires to be the lead in a play. She finally lands her big break, but then disturbing supernatural incidents start happening around the theater. All she wanted was a smashing opening night, but instead she might be breaking a leg... LITERALLY.
Can she solve the mysteries of the theater before opening night? Will love bloom along the way?
With the help of the lovable and friendly ghost Silas, sultry detective Gavin, and her skeptical co-star Joshua, she might just be able to solve the mystery before their premiere!

Sarah is the female protagonist for The Last Act and is at the center of the story and the supernatural incidents. You’ll be taking on the role of Sarah and navigating your way through the story as you try to discover the dark truth of the theater while also preparing to perform your heart out. After all, the show must go on.
Casting Call for an Opening in Your Heart!

- The loveable specter Silas, who has his own heavy and complicated backstory. Can Sarah reach Silas’s ethereal heart?
- Investigator Gavin, a complicated character wrapped up in his own mysteries and secrets. Can Sarah accept Gavin for who he truly is?
- Delightful Joshua, who is a wonderful man but very narrow-minded and skeptical about the paranormal. Can Joshua be the leading man in Sarah’s heart?

- A mysterious tale of heartbreak, romance, and supernatural events

much shorter than i was expecting! i will probably wait for someone else to make a guide so i can get all the endings. it's cute and not too long if that's your thing
came here for the ghost route it did not disappoint
This game is pretty interesting - different from your usual romance visual novels with super cute art, relaxing music, and a unique story. The three main leads are great especially Silas the ghost was a very unique protagonist compared to most visual novels. There is a game like this on the Voltage app if you want more like this but I prefer this story. It was a great game and one of the best visual novels I have ever played! Not too much detail, short, and sweet but exciting with great male leads and heartwarming endings. It's worth the full price and more :)
It was a fun short story.
If I had a nickel for every time I dated a ghost, I'd have 16, which isn't a lot of money but it's weird I have so many nickels.
The game seemed short, sweet, and with a mystery to solve, so I was very excited! Don't actually expect mystery, though, at least not in the sense of the phantom. Silas is very present in the story and very precious, a true cinnamon roll. The other two love interests, though? Really enjoyed getting to known them through the story, which in itself is very lighthearted, even if at times you'll be in danger. Sarah, the protagonist, is very relatable and funny too! My playtime for Silas route is 2 hours, so expect a bit more if going for the investigator and your fellow lead, Joshua, as well.
This game is on the shorter side, but has a fun cast (including a ghost), a mystery, and plenty of choices that impact the story! Recommend if you're looking for a lighter otome/visual novel.
This game was a very interesting dating sim with a catching concept and lovely art. The first few runs I did were a bit confusing, but once I understood how the story ends it was much easier to navigate the clues given to me through the story and dialogue. The routes were easy to get once I figured out what I was doing, but might take a few tries to get while you figure the story out. It was easy to replay, with the only issue I really had was lag in dialogue when you skip it or have the text speed to max, but it was very minimal and did not take away from the game. I would recommend The Last Act as it is inexpensive and is overall a great game.
Well I played the game and received multiple endings. Still not sure what the true ending is and I'll have to play a few more times to find it.
