DO NOT BUY. Game breaking save corrupting bug still in the game years after being reported. No update from Devs since March, and no acknowledgement of bug ever. This bug doesn't just happen to some people, it happens to every single person who interacts with the game beyond a certain story point. DO NOT BUY THIS GAME. They've ported the game to mobile, and from reading reviews on the play store, the save corrupting bug is still there. This means that it is almost impossible to clear the game unless you ignore a solid third of it. Feels like the devs couldn't figure out how to solve the problem and have abandoned the game. I will update the review if this changes, but until then DO NOT BUY. This is far from the only bug. Act 1 is polished, but act 2 and beyond very much feels like an early access game, and the fact that the game breaking bug happens so far into the game meaning we cant get a refund is scammy.

World of Kung Fu Review: A little gem of a game, but flawed. I wishlisted Wandering Sword, another indie kung fu game, as soon as I saw the teaser. This game, however, gave me doubts. I played WS first, but as soon as I started WoKF, I couldn’t stop playing! Retro Presentation: The graphics of WoKF are very basic, but charming. The characters look like Funko, very big heads with small bodies. The character art though, is really good, and with around 100 characters (most of them recruitable!), it amazes me the quantity AND quality of the art. The music is very basic, but there are many memorable tunes. The hauntingly beautiful song of the intro lives in my head rent-free. Both the graphics and music gave me Final Fantasy 5 vibes.
