Why need sword if you have a farmer's sickle!!
Like the description the farmer thought the tool was a knife I mean damn the farmer in this universe were savage, well at least it can slay a lot of monsters so no problem with it.
My Review :

[th]About[/th] [th]Rate[/th]

Art/graphic The environment is a common in RPG games, so I'll review the other. First, let's talk about the UI, the UI was clean, especially in the in game menu which my favorite thus far, it's doesn't have lots of weird effect and weird "pattern" around it, But I didn't really like the clock indicator in this game which it's actually pretty useless, rather than using a 00:00AM format the dev can use a "Half sun image for morning full sun image at noon" you get the point. Especially if the game doesn't have day/night cycle I mean when I was in the tutorial I thought it gonna change but it's actually not. Movin...

About This Game

Twilight Memoria: Sun and Moon is a nostalgic RPG about growing up in a seemingly quiet village, one that you soon discover is full of secrets. You play as two inseparable childhood friends: Rucifar Demien, the spirited son of a famous adventurer, and Luna Silver, a prodigy in alchemy.
Instead of idling away your days, you’ll help villagers, take on requests from the village chief, and uncover the strange mysteries unfolding around you. As Rucifar and Luna’s bond deepens, you’ll begin to explore the unfamiliar feelings of first love, a step into a new world of romance, friendship, and self-discovery.
Through heartfelt interactions, meaningful alchemy choices, and a story filled with warmth and wonder, Sun and Moon captures the spirit of childhood adventures, quiet acts of heroism, and the innocence of falling in love for the very first time.
Real-Time Turn-Based Combat
Battle monsters using an Active Time Battle system where every character, including enemies, acts on their own timer. Rucifar fights on the front lines while Luna supports from behind, healing, crafting bombs, and using items mid-battle. You’ll need quick thinking and teamwork to survive, especially since you're just two kids up against dangerous creatures.
Unpredictable Alchemy System
Recreate the joy of mixing wild potions as a kid, throwing in whatever you had and hoping for magic. Craft potions, bombs, and quest items using a flexible ingredient system where recipes only list types, like "Liquid" or "Leaf." It’s up to you whether you choose spring water… or monster blood. Every choice affects the outcome, making experimentation part of the adventure!
Quest-Based Village Life
Help your neighbors and prove your worth by completing requests from the village chief. From gathering materials to investigating strange happenings, each quest deepens your connection to the community.
A Story of Friendship and First Love
Grow alongside Rucifar and Luna as they support each other, challenge expectations, and experience the confusing thrill of first love. Strengthen their bond through shared adventures, meaningful choices, and quiet moments.

I played this game on stream. I'm honestly surprised that the game doesn't have any negative reviews because there is actually a lot wrong with this game. The game begins with a poor impression by having the menu music and sound effects very, very low in the mix. RPG Maker devs often worry about the mix due to the engine being considered "loud", and so I wonder if the developer has overcompensated for this stigma. However, result is that after you start a new game, a pre-rendered video is played and the volume is jacked way up. During the movie another huge flaw for an RPG game will begin to become apparent - we'll come back to this. Once the pre-rendered video ends, the volume mixing is returned to being quiet...some times. Various sound effects are still at full volume while everything else is quiet. It's one of the worst audio mixes I have heard in a game and it baffles me how this made it past a play test. Now, in the intro a big problem begins to become even more apparent - espec...
Another RPG Maker Games! I Love RPG Maker Games. First of all I really love how the developer customize almost every aspect of the game, making it very different than most RPG Maker Games out there. Art wise is "Okay" for me, not really my taste, I am into more mature Anime Style rather than Loli/Cute anime style like this, but everyone has their own taste I guess. The Map is great, really love the mapping, the battle background is also really nice. the choice of music is also good, I really enjoy some of the in game tracks. The game story, Gameplay is good, nothing to really criticize about that, I like the alchemy mechanic and mining mechanic. The battle not really my taste due to shitty keyboard layout this game forces us. Why not just use default battle control like any RPG Maker game, where you use arrow button to select stuff and enter or esc to select or escape. Seriously My only problem is on the control mechanic, steam often f*** up controller and often not detecting contr...
Saw this on local RPG Maker forum and decide to give it a try. Great game, cute graphics. very refreshing since I am kinda need for a real RPG games made using RPG maker but not a hentie ones like lots of other rpg maker games. Please bring back real RPG Games made with RPG maker not just cashgrab selling boobs like other RPG maker games. This is a great starting point, I really hope in future many developer starting develop real RPG games made with RPG Maker, as a RPG maker user myself, I'd like to play this kind of game for inspiration and refreshsing.
I saw your post on Facebook and decided to give it a try. In my honest opinion, this one is one of the most underrated RPG Maker games around on Steam. The battle is cool; I am still learning to do a better parry or guard tough, the art is cute, but it can be better. I love the visual novel style when it comes to dialogue too I follow your page, and it looks like you are now working on the sequel of this game Your next project must be better than this one Here are my greetings as we are the same fellow RPG maker developer I hope you are doing well.
I've always been a diehard fan of the RPG that carries the ATB system. Just mention it like Final Fantasy V, VI, VII, VIII, IX they are all my favorites! So when I saw a new RPG maker game that carried this system, I was very enthusiastic. This might be my serious review considering that I really support the indie game climate of the JRPG genre. 1. Opening The first time I played, I felt a stutter in the map scrolling section in the village; it made my head quite dizzy I don't know why; is this my VGA error? I don't understand, but I tried to hold it and play again. Some of the text in the opening video was also unreadable because it was quite fast, but the delivery of their story premise was quite striking. 2. Battle In the first battle, I was not familiar with the controls, but after looking at some of the help files and info presented in the user interface, I started to find the rhythm of the game. It will be very satisfying when you manage to attack and defend in the next secon...
To be honest, I never had the chance to play a lot of JRPG genre games, only a few in their golden age on ps 1 and ps 2. The first time I played this game, I felt a little confused with the mechanical controls. However, after using the controller according to the developer's advice, I started to feel better when fighting. This unique ATB mechanism makes me often panic in fighting. We are indeed only controlling two people, but this is more difficult than it looks. Believe me, even after playing this game for more than 2 hours, I'm still trying to adapt to the battle mechanics, maybe because I'm too new to this genre and often play regular turn-based instead of ATB. Overall, the biggest advantage of this game is the quality of the story, which is satisfying; even though I haven't finished finishing this game, the way the author tells the story of these two children makes me laugh quite often. If you like JRPG with an ATB system that keeps your mind and hands active before the enemy ...
I've previously played many rpg maker games, and it's pretty comfortable to play them all. It's just that what I feel when playing this game is a new feeling that seems to require adaptation and quite a lot of energy to play a genre that I think is entirely new. Need speed, concentration, pay attention to the atb bar, also don't forget to do blocking. Playing just one hour still can't master the battle at this fast pace. I still detect some bugs, such as in the scene where we are looking for Luna at her house, there is a freeze on the screen, and it just disappears when I minimize the screen. The rest are all fine, and other reviewers have also discussed the pros and cons of this game.
One thing about this game, Really Cute! But the battle is not something you could get over so easily at first. This game makes your hand and mind active with it's ATB system. But those battles can be prepared thanks to it's crafting system. It lets you choosing different ingredients just for one potion. It's my first time having a hard time choosing what's best for my potion lol. It's quite unique for a crafting system. For the story, one thing I notice is about the cat lol. Everything starts with that troublesome cat lmfao. Overall, it's a good game. Kudos to the developer.
