About the Game

Eternights is a unique blend of dating and action where players can explore a post-apocalyptic world filled with danger, love, and adventure.

Save the world, and find love along the way.

Face the infected

One day, something, or someone, has turned humans into dangerous monsters. All that interests them now is violence and power. They are what stand between you, a cure, and the world you want. Most importantly? You’re fighting for more than just your own survival – you are fighting for those you love.

Find Love

The impending end of the world makes for a great conversation starter! When you’re not exploring dungeons, you can choose to spend time growing closer to a cast of five quirky and loveable characters. Explore their stories and grow closer to them to unlock unique skills and spells you can use in battle.

Race the Clock

Scavenging, dungeon crawling, dating…there are just too many things to do in one day, and each area has a deadline! Will you grow closer to your confidant in order to deepen your relationship and unlock new skills? Will you scavenge the wasteland for supplies? Will you grow stronger by training with your companions? Or will you ignore all of that and go to the dungeon the first chance you get? It’s up to you, but remember, the clock is ticking.

Explore Dungeons

These dangerous areas - known as the "Wall" - are filled with mystery and danger. As the deadline looms, you will have to quickly overcome traps, puzzles, and dancing minigames to make it through in time. Luckily, you have your confidants by your side to help when things get scary.

Animated Cutscenes

There are several fully 2D animated cutscenes that change depending on who you decide to date. Immerse yourself and truly connect with the characters you are spending time with.

Game play wise it's ok, nothing that special in the genre. However character wise, I find it charming, all the characters are pretty cool in one aspect or another. So, if you like the characters, I think its worth a shot trying out.

Ah man, what a hidden gem! I wasn't even going to try this at first because it didn't have many reviews on steam, but I decided to give it a chance, and I'm so glad I did. This game is so much fun. It might not look up to par with graphics compared to AAA titles and the combat is a little odd at first impression, but after a short amount of time I've come to really enjoy both. The combat became a lot more fun as I acquired new abilities, and the character and enemy design are actually really fun and unique. My favorite thing about the game is the interactive conversations and mechanics with the characters, making this a great game for people who like role playing, and the fact that different dialogue choices actually have stats that influence bond adds a level of immersion and replay-ability. Lastly to sum it all up the story is interesting enough to focus your attention and after connection with the characters throughout the game, and all the other interactions, by the end of it all y...

Combat is so bad and janky it ruins the game. Story isn't interesting. Bought it for $10 but I wouldn't play it if it was free.

Don't let go of the R2 button. I don't know how a game manages to feel this polished yet-- so unpolished. I don't mean this in a way to badmouth the game and call it of horrible quality, in fact, I think it makes it charming in a way that it's not perfect. Booting up the game, it felt so-- superficial, like a cash-grab sort of a game, or one that's made by a complete amateur with multiple asset flips, then the other, you immediately feel like it's the most passionate game ever made with so much heart and soul poured into it... Even after finishing it, I can't decide what to think of it. I love the mix that this game surprises you with the animation. I love it when anime games incorporate 2D animations to a 3D game, it made it just feel so much more fun and exciting overall. The game had such an amazing start to it, but it starts to slow down after. It sets up the tone and atmosphere really really well and makes it look like it's going to be such a great game. Right off the bat, I wa...

An incredibly clunky and unfun combat system, bad enemy variety, cheesy story, and a big discount Persona vibe. This game is not good.

Eternights got me right in the feels. I finished my first playthrough within 24 hours of starting. The dialogue was fun and heartfelt, which kept me riveted. The gameplay was enjoyable, and I especially liked the flashiness of the moves. I need a break after the emotional sucker punch of my first run, but I’ll definitely be coming back to this story again. That said, I did play on the easiest difficulty, so I can't comment on the more challenging modes yet. As much as I loved this game, it's not without flaws. The camera was a problem from time to time, most notably when I backed myself into a corner without realizing it. It would pan up so I couldn’t see my character, making it hard to get out of a few sticky moments. It was also a bit of a pain when I was surrounded by monsters and trying to select the right target and element. More than once I couldn’t see my target’s element after triggering an attack and had to guess, which led to wasted moves. This was only made l...

This feels like an indie version of a modern Persona game, for better and worse. I loved the characters, how unafraid it is to try new things, but it lacks in the content and polish areas. Still recommend, because we need more of this sort of experience from more voices
