About the Game

Disney Dreamlight Valley is a hybrid between a life-sim and an adventure game rich with quests, exploration, and engaging activities featuring Disney and Pixar friends, both old and new.

Once an idyllic land, Dreamlight Valley was a place where Disney and Pixar characters lived in harmony—until the Forgetting. Night Thorns grew across the land and severed the wonderful memories tied to this magical place. With nowhere else to go, the hopeless inhabitants of Dreamlight Valley retreated behind locked doors in the Dream Castle.

Now it’s up to you to discover the stories of this world and bring the magic back to Dreamlight Valley!

Discover the Secrets Of Dreamlight Valley

Free the Dream Castle from the insidious grip of the Forgetting, and unlock the unique Realms of well-loved Disney and Pixar characters, including great queens and kings such as Anna and Simba. Each Realm contains unique challenges with puzzles to solve in the quest to bring friendship back to the Valley.

You’ll start your adventure in the Valley, but your journey will take you to infinity… and beyond! Explore what lurks in the Forest of Valor and brave the deepest caverns as you take on challenges from iconic Disney and Pixar heroes and villains. Who knows who—or what—you might discover.

Forge friendships with Disney & Pixar characters

Garden with WALL•E, cook with Remy or kick back and fish with Goofy. What better way to collect, craft, and rebuild the Valley than with a friend! From beautiful princesses to nefarious villains, every Dreamlight Valley resident brings their own story arc, quests, and rewards. Meet up in daily hangouts and make friends with some of your favorite Disney and Pixar characters..

Was supposed to be free after early acess, now not only it isnt free, but there is also paid expansions AND micro (rather macro) transactions for in-game cosmetics. Just really scummy and disappointing from their part.

It was cute until they decided to do whatever major company does these days and creates games in parts and pieces instead of complete, and then sells you DLCs with even more bugs, and then even more DLCs... never ending money hungry endlessness The repetitive tasks are incredibly boring after once or twice of having to do something anyways. Games are supposed to be fun, not "grindy"... this is f***ing disney after all lol

This game is a double cross because of Disney and I can't forgive them for making it not free to play and keeping it that way.

If it weren't for the Disney characters, I wouldn't play this game at all. The item design is the ugliest I've ever seen in my 20+ years of gaming. All the grinding requests and character stories are weak, repeat and boring. The graphics look like something from a mobile game. On top of that, you still need to pay extra for premium items, otherwise, you're just left with ordinary ones. Overall, I don't recommend it, and I regret buying this game.

What did we expect from Capitalist Superstar Mickey Mouse. They are naturally going to nickel and dime us while pushing half-baked goods.

They've really squashed most of the major bugs so a lot of the negative reviews aren't even really valid anymore. They're also continuing the storylines for the DLCs and the Main storyline. Also, it's super fun to play and has a LOT to do. I will warn though, if you don't like annoying grindy games, this one isn't for you. I regularly have to grind and do a lot of meaningless tasks all day to get enough dreamlight and storybook points just to progress in the story and let me tell you it's irritating. However, if you want a lot of money in game fast, there's pumpkins but they're in one of the last biomes in the main area and that's really annoying to save up enough dreamlight to get into. It's also sucky that they make things grow faster if they're in the same biomes you bought them from. They take longer to take care of if you plant them right next to your house which grants another complaint. At any rate, I really like this game and there's an official Discord if you want updates and ...

To Buyers: The tags for this game are "Relaxing Life Sim." If that is what brought you here, it might not be right for you. To Dev: I want to start by saying I really enjoy many, many things about this game. And with all the changes, updates, and fixes announced in this recent update (Aug 2025), I was so hopeful and looking forward to playing. But I have to say, I wish the bugs would be play tested and worked out a bit more before releasing things. My game keeps crashing and having camera issues since the release of this update. That was never a problem before. I have a pretty beastly computer that can play larger games just fine. Also, Max, the dog that picks up wood and digs.... he keeps getting stuck and suddenly not being able to fulfill his companion duties. And for some reason if Max can't dig a spot, I also can't dig it. You can see it there, but it doesn't do anything when you try to collect it. Happens with picking up wood too. My Avatar keeps freezing in place too. Not the...

It's Animal Crossing, but Disney. It's a good concept, and I'm enjoying it so far, however... There's a few major bugs that these developers haven't gotten off their lazy butts to fix for over a year now. Scrooge's shop is almost for sure going to cause your experience to be unfortunate at some point. The game is not suggested until those bugs get fixed. I want to be clear though, it's a good game, for what it is. I'm just a bit picky about devs that let obvious bugs like this go unchecked for so long. Be very careful with messing around with Scrooge's clothing orders. It's a fixable bug, but it can be an expensive bug to fix if you're unfortunate. That said, there's the issue of this being a paid game, with paid expansions, and more paid micro transactions? This game is as monetized as The Sims, and that's definitely going to rub people the wrong way.

I loved playing- when it worked. It's just disheartening to grind for dreamlight points just for those points to suddenly disappear. Then grind again, for the points to be gone again. And no, I'm not buying anything with them. I've had them disappear on me in 3 different kinds of situations. I don't even feel like playing anymore, what's the point if I can't keep the points I need to progress? Contacting support was no help. Just a "must be a bug, there's no way to get your points back". Don't bother with the game, play something that won't frustrate you.

I loved Disney (the old one I grew up with not today's garbage) and this helps bring back lots of memories. The visuals are great and so is the music. It's a nice, relaxing game to kill time.
