This game uses your head tilting left or right to steer the bike. That with the combination of being able to looking around in a 360 degree, makes this game one of the worst motion sickness creations I've ever experienced. I haven't been able to play VR since this experience was so nauseating.
I originally left a negative review because the game had bugs that made it near impossible to get past level two. Since i left that review, the developer of the game personally reached out to me to keep me updated on patches they were working on and have been asking for feedback as they go along. This sort of communication with the community is exactly what I want from an early access game. The bugs have been fixed and I have high hopes for the further development and improvement of this game. Super fun game. Awesome motorcycle mechanics. The game is still far from perfect, but they're off to a great start. Give it a try.
I came here for the motorcycle, but left almost instantly. Riding is incredibly bad (lean with head?) No handling of handlebar or controling the bike? Shooting is useless (even tho its a shooting game) and weapons feel completely static and unattractive. Feels like a mobile game that was upped to a "VR" experience. Mediocre one. Refunded. .
All the guns are nearly useless apart from the ends of levels. It's literally just holding a spear and tilting your head. That's it, that's all there is. Edit: It has improved slightly, I've removed my complaints that no longer apply.
Hell road is the best action motorbike in vr i was hoping to see in vr first the bike control and the gameplay could not be best we are totally the impression to be on the motorbike and in more we have few upgrade weapons for the motorbike we can find in the levels ( we have the impression to have the motorbike , like we see in the movie of james bond , or batman or others incredible movie with motorbike equiped of weapons ) and we can see a full body so the immersion is perfect in more there is a great choice of weapons: one as melee weapon and all the others as distance like crossbow , different type of wonderfull fire weapons and too a grenade launcher , the weapons are great designed and the zombie and other monsters we meet on the road have great design as well , the motorbike desgn is wonderfull , and the levels design too is wonderfull we take a lot of pleasure to do the levels and there is i a lot of difficulties , we can choose so a great replayabilty it is a...
Currently I can't recommend this game because of the controls. I can't tell if it's just me but my left hand keeps un-gripping off the left handle on the bike. It makes it impossible for me to play it when I can't even accelerate the bike. I can't tell if the head tilting is good or not because sometimes it works perfectly, and other times it will barley respond. So when I try to make these sharp turns I always hit the walls and lose health. I really like the weapons and the game itself is fun, I just can't play it. I can't get past the first level because I can't make those sharp turns with the green exploding zombies. I'll keep trying but right now I can't get behind this but I seriously hope the best for the devs because they got a good game here.
Pretty fun game. Locomotion took no more than 3-4 minutes to get used to and it feels pretty natural. It doesn't look fantastic but it does the job. Looking forward to more content. A few suggestions I have that I feel would improve the experience alot. More umph in the weapon sounds(not necessarily make them alot louder, but just a punchier sound). Weapon wheel, either the right analog stick or hold the weapon change button down and get a wheel/menu where you can point and select weapon, with a time slow while you have the wheel/menu up. I feel trying to swap through the weapons gets very clunky and clumsy. In the end of stage "shooting range" audible clues to where the waves are coming from would be very helpful. Start a spawn with a zombie growl/dog barking and such would be very helpful. All in all a fun little game. Looking forward to more levels, zombies and weapons.
So I'm only 30 minutes into the game and Im excited to play more of it. The turning of the head to steer was definitely something i had to get use to but didnt take to long to learn. I can definitely tell the devs put some heart and soul into this game. My suggestions is to make the music louder during the game because the music is badass but can barely hear it while riding. The music pumps you up. Switching between weapons is easy but you have to scroll through them all to get the one you want. you dont need to grab the handle bars to get how awesome the game is or to feel like your on a bike. This game give you the feel of a bike without that. Also the last part of each level is pretty badass and gives another feel to the game which i loved. I'm thinking maybe a half way check point because once you die you have to start all over.
Best VR arcade shooter so far.
