About This Game

Robots have invented rocket jumping and they need you to test it for them! Use your experimental rocket launcher and make your way up from their secret underground facility all the way up to the surface and beyond! Get ready for over 2500 meters of precision platforming, rocket explosions and smooth jazz. You will experience a whole lot of failing, falling and getting back up again through seven different zones in this punishing precision platformer.

No savescumming, no checkpoints... NO MERCY!

 • Controls: Rocketjump to launch yourself to where you want to go. Easy to learn but hard to master.

 • Difficulty: Failure is a feature. We try to keep things challenging, but fair.

 • Local multiplayer: Help each other get higher or work against a friend in local multiplayer, switch between horizontal or vertical splitscreen with the press of a button (Currently only mouse and keyboard for player 1 and a controller for player 2 are supported)

 • Alternate paths: Choose different paths and find shortcuts. However remember: The bigger the reward, the greater the risk!

 • Cosmetics: Earn and a equip a collection of 12 hats during gameplay

 • Auto-save: We save everything, even your mistakes.

 • Tutorial: Learn the art of the rocketjump in an easygoing (optional) tutorial.

Hear ye, hear ye! Hear the news... and despair! For the robots have acquired rockets! This is very much a fun, although frustrating game! The style is pretty memorable and reminds me of Borderlands. Controls are somewhat tricky in the beginning though I picked 'em up quickly enough. The collisions/mouse are sometimes a bit finicky still, though maybe this is more of a 'git gud' aspect than an actual complaint :P I'm definitely failing/falling often, most of the times by attempting to grab the collectible hats (which are very cute!) but the smooth smooth soundtrack helps rein in the frustration... No, seriously, the jazz is smoother than a baby's bottom. Each time I go up again, though, I get a little bit better, a little bit faster, so I'd say this game also has lots of speed run potential! All in all, a pretty great game for a solid price! Edit: Just finished the game! Most parts are pretty easy if you know what you're doing but there are definitely some reeeallly frustrating par...

This game is awesome! I certainly didn't expect to like it as much as I did, the rocketjumping is very satisfying, especially when you have to chain a few or do it on walls and stuff recommend this to anyone who liked getting over it

60 minute review (in-depth review will follow after 10 hours)! This game! It's funny, it's frustrating but mostly it's frustratingly funny! First experience: After 60 minutes all I can say is: "FFFFFFFFFFuuuuudge" since I dropped down again after a brutal climb where I eventualy panicked from making the right move/jump! And what do you get for it as a reward? A hat and a 300 meter drop back to the start. Silver lining: Atleast you will develop the needed skills for that first part pretty fast. AND I LOVE IT! The game itself: In Rad Rocket you have to "climb" with nothing but your Rocket Jumping skills and you will be brutaly punished for making mistakes. There is no hand holding, no saving, no helping. It's just you, the jumping and your rising frustrations. The real Silver Lining: But also, and mostly, the sense of acomplishment when reaching new heights, getting to learn the jumps needed for those parts, the sense of awe when faced wit...

This game was very fun to play, it reminds me a lot of Getting Over It, but this one is way more fun. Loved the art style, the music choice and the sound effects were clean :)

It took me a while to finish the tutorial and to figure out the best way of jumping. The game itself is quite challenging since checkpoint/respawn points are absent. The game is addicting and fun, i fall down often but im still getting better each time. I really want to beat this game :) Btw the game runs smoothly on my noisy 8 (!) year old laptop.
