Great mechanic. Bad game.

Lots of annoying narrative
Too short for the price, ~3h of gameplay
Puzzles are too linear. Most of the time it is too obvious how to solve them
Half or maybe even more of the puzzles are "teaching the new mechanic" that's gonna last for about 2-3 next levels
A lot of unnecessary walking.Character is slow and puzzle elements are often widely spread
You get the camera only by second half of the game. Literally
Last level is time attack for no reason in a trial and error game
The core concept of spatial manipulation with photographs sounds intriguing, but the execution is incredibly superficial. The game relies on repetitive and basic actions that quickly become monotonous. Also, most of the challenges can be solved requiring little to no brainpower, which is a major letdown for a puzzle-focused title.

A neat puzzle game. A bit on the easy side. For example, there were times, when I managed to acquire multiple batteries, only to realize that only two were required to power up the portal. However the final level left a bad taste in mouth with a time limit. Can't tell much about the story as it's conveyed via audio-logs and dialogue. You've seen the video of the player going to settings to mute speech after first cringy line of dialogue, so, yeah. But I can say the writers were overpaid, if the story is not needed or is even a detriment to enjoying the game. I played in short bursts, couple levels a time, so the mechanics didn't get stale. And even so, there was a decent amount of variety in the levels, with new challenges coming up frequently, so longer sessions are possible.

Fun puzzler on par with the likes of The Talos Principle I & II, Superliminal, and dare I say even the Portal series, plus all its one-off, fan-made variants. Perhaps not the same production value as those other games, yet still smile-inducing. I also do not know what wizardry it took to design the mechanics and various effects, but I am glad I got to experience this little gem.

Fun game, with some low points. The game's biggest selling point is that the main mechanic is inherently fun to mess around with. It is always at least a little delightful to apply a photo and see how the geometry of the level has changed to accommodate the new reality. It's not a long game (I got all the collectibles, all the camera filters and most of the achievements in ~6 hours), and it felt like very little of that time was spent actually being stumped by a puzzle. There were only two puzzles where I really had that "wait, I genuinely don't know what to do" feeling. There are some low points as well. The game can be cloying at times, both towards itself, and towards you. It praises itself -- having a character being wildly impressed with the photo mechanic, and again when a monorail arrives, even though neither of these things are inherently impressive in the context of a simulated reality. It also offers you praise that feels exaggerated and unearned: saying things like, "witne...

🤮 - very short, to ending barely over 2h, completionist around 4h - constantly tells you how cool the game is - takes itself way too seriously - overall cool mechanic, very poor storytelling

It's a puzzle Trip, Basically PORTAL on crack and LSD. Won't spoil the story, but it's worth getting if you like solving problems.

A gorgeous first-person puzzle platformer featuring an innovative puzzle element that is unfortunately severely under-utilized. I wish this game was longer. Good: - Beautiful environments. - Great puzzle design. - Frequently introduces new puzzle elements, meaning little repetition. - Ability to customize the style of the pictures you take is neat. Bad: - For just shy of 5 hours of gameplay 25 eurodollars is simply too much. Get it during a sale. - Slightly annoying and somewhat unrealistic dialogue. - Story was... kinda bad, gotta be honest. Though I wouldn't play this for the story anyways.
