Very fun and challenging puzzle game. On top of the entertainment value, this game is also a masterclass in teaching mechanics to the player via gameplay itself. Mimicry's level design introduces concepts and tricks gradually, allowing the player to acclimate to them. Those skills are then put to the test in unique boss fights.

User Reviews
Absolutely fun little puzzle game, high replayability. Bosses are unique, found myself having to rethink my strategy for Boss 2 a few times. Overall a fantastic purchase.
The game has some tough puzzles, but the difficulty usually doesn't come from not knowing what to do, rather it relies on solid execution. Really good game, buy it if you want a bunch of fun puzzles.
Mimicry is a great game. Despite only being four hours long, there are some really great puzzles throughout the game's 100 levels. The music is mellow and isn't distracting, and the new ideas introduced throughout the game make the experience feel fresh. The final boss is a true test of everything throughout the game. I am friends with the developer of this game as well, and I'm happy for his newfound success at the launch of Mimicry. I can't wait to see what else Anxiety Monster has in store, godspeed!
TLDR Reviews Pros: - Easy to learn 2D Puzzle solver - Gradual progress difficulty - Replayable - Great soundtrack - Great boss battles - Controller support Cons: - The graphics are too simplistic. - No restart button - No way to pause the game - There is no full screen display Final Verdict: Buy if you like puzzles. Mimicry is a simplistic 2D puzzle platformer. There is a gradual ramp in difficulty which is good to all players in any skill level. Some of these puzzles are carefully constructed to make you think. You will die many times and have to reset levels. Like Darksouls with puzzles. Controls are the arrow keys and jump is the up button. I can play this game one handed so I can drink with my left hand. I like the chip tune sountrack. To the dev: Please add a pause button by hitting the escape button. Make your game play in full 1920 x 1080 resolution. The graphics are simplistic which is good but it feels like a demo. Please upgrade the assets to cute girls or pixel...
