Unyielding is a lewd visual novel with toggleable, tabletop RPG-eske combat about a man turned-woman and his (her) quest to defeat the one that transformed him (her) into a sex-crazed bimbo. I am impressed by the sheer amount of writing Unyielding has to offer. Between the main story and "Tidbits", there's tons of reading material and world building to munch on between chapters. It reminds me of the days I used to GM games with my pals, although a little more word heavy. Though there is a combat system, I would strongly disrecommend this game to anyone that isn't keen to flipping over a (thick) book. This is a very non-linear VN -- your choices will affect the combat and scenes that are unlocked. Between battles, you may gear-up with acquired coin Pieces. Additionally, your party members can be "leveled up" with new skills as they will battles. There are a good number of CGs to unlock, but I was disappointed by the strange aspect rations and ...

About This Game
Catelly lost everything suddenly. She was placed into a new, weak body with strong urges. She lost her identity. She lost her friends. The world around her was shattered. Instead of being defeated, she tries to fix her life. It won't be an easy task.
- 200,000 words of story, 20 unique characters:
The story of Unyielding continues to grow. Explore different routes. Unlock new allies. Get different endings. - Strategy combat:
Fight in turn based strategy combat across 50 handcrafted battles. Use skills, items, and tactics to win. Learn what characters syngergize well with each other. Conserve precious resources for key moments. - Adventures:

Explore the wilds of Downturn to find out what happened, but conserve resources to recover after fights. Save Sandy Coast before it's overrun, but beware the politics of the area. - Gallery:
Complete character stories unlock erotic art. The art gallery chronicles your adventure. - Things change:
Character appearances might change throughout the story. Control the appearance of the characters manually if you end up with a look you don't like.

Update 18-08-2022: Returned to the game after almost two years - on the technical side, there are still flaws in the interface, text or graphics, but the game is almost completed and this is one of those games that you come to for 18+, but stay because of the story and characters. Highly recommend! VN/adventure with optional turn-based combat and simple RPG elements. In short: good game worth buying. Pros: 1. Interesting story and a well-developed world of the game. 2. Combat system is simple, but moderately interesting. 3. Slight customization of the heroes' appearance. Cons (they are all rather small): 1. Inconvenient menu interface in battle. 2. Poor aspect ratio of images in erotic scenes. 3. Different font sizes in identical interface elements (if the text does not fit into the allotted window, then the font size is reduced). I also want to note that this is an early access and in the game already in the first hour you can find small errors / flaws / typos, but nothing ga...
"Came for the tits, stayed for the plot." Easily the best VN/RPG I've ever played, even despite its unfinished state. I have never cared so much about a group of characters in any game, and I say that without a hint of hyperbole. They're all stunningly well written, and beautifully drawn to boot. The worldbuilding, while not quite the textbooks of information that I would like, is good enough that I *want* textbooks of the world, and features some rare themes for the Fantasty RPG genre in general, let alone Adult games. A rarity in this genre, the art style is consistent throughout, with no jarring cuts to a gif of two people fucking or anything of the sort. Combat is based on the Roll20 framework (although it is totally optional).
What you expect from a "NSFW D&D": - lots of interesting quests with choices that matters - lots of lewd CG What you get: - a lot of boring side stories with no choice or a rare choice to do a lewd action or not - a lot of lewd text but with a rare lewd art which quality is slightly worse than usually in game itself Unfortunately, normal quests with fights and lewd art (which is main story and like one side quest) are buried under these "side quests". I see screenshots on the main page where you have a 4-ppl party and you like go on adventure. Well. I've already spent 4h, finished book 3, and you know, I had only few fights and a lot, a lot, A LOT of text stories. If the normal content starts somewhere in "Book 10" or whatever, I won't see it as these side quests just ruined everything. P.S. Speaking about battles, this is a light weight, simplified DnD which is quite sufficient for a lewd story. I played on hard and didn't find it hard, but overall it was well balanced and even in...
Awesome game! A+ for having choices that actually matter. The story and characters are extremely well written. The artwork is very good and fits the overall theme. Lots of customized options (appearance, combat on/off, followers, romantic interests, etc.). Currently, the only downside is that the game is still in development and you will be left wanting more when you reach the end of content but you will definitely want more (that's a very good thing). I'm really looking forward to playing future updates.
+Reasonably long VN for the money. +Art is decent. +Bad Ends just immediately bring you back to the choice you made, instead of having to reload and do the whole scene over. -Combat feels completely tacked on. -'Adventure Mode' in chapter 4 and 5 feels like it was an experiment for another game entirely. In fact the UI changes almost completely in chapter 5, with two random mini-games tossed in out of nowhere. -A lot lewd scenes have no CG, or even different standing models. Early on it's reasonable, but as your get further into the game there's less and less of it and it makes things rather dull. I'll admit after I while I just starting skipping some of the text walls when it involved less interesting characters. -The final chapter feels incredibly rushed and buggy. There isn't a final combat and many endings don't even get a CG. Would I recommend this? Eh, this is one of those times you wish Steam had a neutral rating or something. It's fine for the cost, but just barely. If...
Unironically this is one of my favourite hentai games. I pirated it at first from an undisclosed location the developer is aware of, and actually started loving the characters so much I went and bought the game. Catelly is cute bro, and it brings more joy than it should to watch her be bullied by her friends. Also it's just genuinely refreshing that losing in combat doesn't lead to you getting nonconned tbh. One thing I will say is that the writing gets better as the game progresses, presumably just because the dev(s) got better at writing over time. And it shows if you stick with it. Also one story arc that didn't even involve hentai was just unironically really well written. Good game fellas
Fun game, compelling story, great battle system, and the cherry on top is the fantastic developer. Highly recommend, 100% worth the money. Bugs get fixed quickly, when discovered/reported, and new content added regularly. The developer is extremely active, transparent, and communicates with the community. And it's packed full of thicc anime girls. 👍
A middling visual novel with a tacked-on turn-based combat engine. Not worth your time.
This writing and character lineup seems like it's straight out of someone's ERP discord server or forum role-playing group. It's not very good and it's mostly just horny and cringe-inducing. The artist seems to think breasts sprout out of the middle of the top of a woman's chest and grow out diagonally away from each other. Overall the sexy parts weren't sexy. The game parts weren't fun. The story wasn't well-written. Sorry.
