Over time, the Worlds of Alaria faded. The Evertree – where many worlds resided on its countless branches – is now nothing more than a sapling, its splendor long erased from memory. No one knows how to make it grow. But you are different. You hear the sun as it sings across the sky. You hear the language of rain against the earth. You are the last of the Everheart Alchemists and it is your ancestral task and privilege to care for the Evertree.

This was the first game I ever bought and played on Steam, I loved, it and I still love it. It had everything I was looking for, a beautiful world to explore with a lot of secrets. Puzzle dungeons with enemies that arn't actively trying to kill you, Village building and management, Found villages, decide who is allowed to move in and what jobs they do, place buildings, decorate and visit these buildings, collect creatures and place them around the villages. And ofcourse farm... well not farming... gardening, but that's fine too. In this game you follow a beautiful story in which you restore a corrupted world by healing an ancient tree. What you can do by creating worlds in its branches. The combinations of elements you combine to create these worlds are enormous and this means the worlds you create and what lives in it will be different every time. Using rare elements in its creation means you will be able to harvest more of said rare elements. After creation you wil start to g...

Cute, cozy game that is quite addictive, however, it becomes repetitive after some time. It could also use a map to help navigate the world as you get lost easily. The ending is a bit anti-climatic.

i really appreciate how this game has no consequences. you can focus your time in a few different things of your choice and still progress through the story easily. its soft and relaxing and i highly recommend it :) there are a few bugs here and there but theyre easy to bypass once you know how! its mainly in the town building/customization when it comes to assigning villagers houses or jobs but its no issue for me
Rating: 7 / 10
Join our hero, the last of the Everheart Alchemists, that has decided to stay back to try to fix the problem (known as The Withering) while all others fled. Slowly uncover the cause as you reclaim the land and the inhabitants once again come to live on the land. Rebuild towns with your own designs, from what buildings to construct and where, placing decorations around the towns and to even customising the townspeople. Nature reserves allow you to choose what is placed whether it's for cosmetic reasons or a source to harvest resources. Worlds that you grow are randomly generated, so no two worlds are identical in layout. Even using the same ingredients still present you with different points of interest and landmass as they slowly grow in size. Some gripes:

Can't place markers on the map so need to remember or rediscover points of interest and secrets.
Puzzles are very simple that they feel like they exist just to draw out the explorati...

yes and no. The concept is great, the 2d art from the tree story is beautiful, the map is beautiful. but It's just too repetitive. Up to the first village everything was smooth but then it's the same over and over again. And don't get me wrong, i played farm games before, but in those there's always a point where you can automatize everything so you can just do other stuff instead of pulling herbs and planting seeds and breaking rocks and singing. But it's not "bad", just the sound they gave the bloody book is bad. That sound is anoying AF

I really enjoyed the game because of the simplicity. It's a nice game where you clean up the nature around you and build towns in your environment to bring nature and harmony back to the eversong tree. It's got basic platforming and decorating, along with the basic stuff like catching bugs and fishing. It was enjoyable to play, and I think kids and adults will enjoy it.
