Creativity 8/10 This game is similar to other developing tycoon games however there are a few new elements such as championships where you make games to compete with rival companies and more of an emphasis on the features you include in your games Design 7/10 Not the sexiest game I've played but next gen graphics aren't really required Audio 10/10 Where can I buy the sound track, it's groovy! Best part tbh is that the audio starts off quiet unlike other games that blow the wax out of your ears the second you open it Gameplay 8/10 At the time of writing this I've played for 3 hours, you start in 1980 and I'm only up to 2009. There is quite a lot of game time to be had Replay value 9/10 I've seen there are different modes to try once I finally finish the standard game, I'm looking forward to it [i]Some of the UI elements could probably use a bit of work, selecting your lead worker can be confusing sometimes but its ok, this is a pretty good ga...

Started "The Developer", developed own engine, then developed game while clicking on all options that were displayed, made a fortune with a perfect "first" game, quit "The Developer" after 12 minutes, requested refund. During this I noticed negative aspects, including: Windows popping up on top of each other, poor localization (German) which leave no idea what you actually clicked on for some options, game can't be quit from the main menu, game doesn't convey any idea of cohesive mechanics or balacing, which leads to just clicking on all available options during development rather than making a "wise choice", the bubble-click-boost mechanic gets old and annoying after just a few minutes. Simply clicking every button on the screen until there is a gazillion virtual dollars in your virtual account is not enough for me to continue playing this game. After only 12 minutes of actual gameplay, this is certainly a harsh criticism and I'm sure the game will offer more features as it progres...

I really have enjoyed my time on "The Developer" so far. It has different difficulties making the game challenging but also really enjoyable. If you don't always have much time on your hands but you still want to enjoy a game i would recommend this game.

I've played this game for a few hours now and it's one of the few games from this genre that I have enjoyed. The game has great replayability and the chance to grow your game empire for a small little company to a massive one while having heaps of fun and once you've reached the top, you can restart and have a completely different experience.

Right from the get-go, YES YES AND YES. After playing for 20 minutes I couldn't stop, completely lost track of time playing, very addicting, the sheer variety in options to make your game out of is amazing, finding the perfect combo is very rewarding and satisfying, Definitely recommend, adding this to my favourites!

This game is interesting and enjoyable. The game has amazing, fairly simple gameplay. The graphics are simple but decent and the sounds is alright. Overall, it's an 8/10, would recommend. Detailed: Graphics: 8/10 The graphics on this game are not mindbreaking and very simple. However, they are nice and with enough detail to be interesting and good enough. Sound: 5.5/10 The sound effects are alright. A bit misplaced but good. The volume of the sound is low and that is annoying but this is alright. Gameplay: 9/10 The gameplay is amazing! If you like things like Software Inc, Game Dev Tycoon and City Game Studio you will love this. The game is great to play, very user-friendly and has many modes. The easy mode is maybe a bit too easy but the rest of this stuff is great.
