Eh. I was really hoping for something great here. At a $20 asking price you expect the game mechanics to be really solid, and it's just not there yet. The putting is what is most off to me. If you release right handed backhand flat and level (or nose down even) the disc will go up by at least 2 feet and hyzer left, every time. There's a moment it snaps upwards, almost like the physics are coded to do that. It's got to be the most frustrating aspect. I'll even put anheizer on the putter to compensate for this behavior, and still it will spin out to the left really hard, like I'm putting with a 14 speed driver. Now I like me an overstable approach putter, but this thing is ridiculous. I'd even compensate for the overstability, but with it going up by two feet I have to release really low, like waist level, and practicing that bad form can't be good for the real course. So now you know the putter is comically overstable, what about the midrange, that overstability sounds like what I w...

User Reviews
I so wanted to play this game. I am an avid disc golfer and it was one of the few things I could enjoy with friends until the weather got cold. It's unplayable even after the "physics update". The mechanics in no way match real disc golf. The stupid Sports Champions game that came out with Playstation Move controllers over 10 years ago was more realistic and definitely more fun. The developer has much work to do before this should even be listed as early release. It is not even beta. This is a non-functioning concept.
I saw the older reviews of this game and decided to take a risk with this one while it was on sale. I've been playing disc golf off/on for a few years now (no where near that great at it, just a hobby!) and saw this as a cool way to play when I can't get out of the house. The beginning tutorial drags on a bit for people who know how to play DG. I had to play the first course with only a putter, which was a little annoying. However, after unlocking the first mid, things got better. The most awkward thing about the game is putting. I either drop the disc at my feet or sling the disc 100ft away. This results in needing to get a tap in on every hole. Holding discs in VR feels odd at first but you eventually adjust to it. Somehow almost every throw I release tells me I'm hyzer, which I can't tell if that's my fault or if the game isn't tracking my hand correctly... (hyzer release is a IRL problem for me, thanks game) However, for 11 dollars on sale, this is a good replica of playing D...
This is an excellent Disc Golf experience. My friends and I play IRL about once a week, and while it takes some adjustment to throwing weightless VR discs; the physics of this game are consistent enough that you can apply your real-life disc golf skills into the game with just a bit of practice. The environments look great, and the terrain of the courses feel diverse and realistic. I was able to maintain a smooth wireless experience on my Oculus Quest (1) over Virtual Desktop on High settings. The visuals aren't photo-realistic, but they are good enough I feel that I'm able to be immersed in the experience. There is a sense of progression in the game with earning "chains"/currency for how well you do on each hole, these can be spent to unlock additional discs - each with their own flight characteristics. Each disc really does feel and fly differently just like they would in real life with respects to the Speed/Glide/Turn/Fade ratings, which are all detailed in the disc unlock scr...
Fantastic game to play with friends! Only issue I have is when in Multiplayer, I sometimes can't see the disk my friend is throwing, and we have yet to finnish a game, because always when the last throw goes into the basket, the game just doesn't end. If you can live with the bugs, I can recommend the game! And I assume these will be fixed in future updates.
Physics need a wee bit of work but def feels like the good ol "ps3 move" disc golf game. The credits for new discs is a good motive. This game will be great, just be patient. I'm excited
Most realistic disc golf VR game out right now. It is fun to unlock new discs and courses and multiplayer is quite enjoyable.
If you like disc golf I wouldn't buy this game. Throwing is so incredibly inaccurate it hurts your head. Go through the proper movements and watch your disc fly about 15 feet...wish I could get my money back. Rec Room disc golf is 10x better
This game is fun! I have been enjoying playing it and there is even multiplayer. Seems like there are a handful of discs to unlock fairly easily and several courses. Worth the time and money in my book!
I am happy I selected this VR Disc Golf game as there are several to choose from. Very appreciative of the amount of activity from the developer. Some things I would have liked have been recently added like seeing running score to par during a game. Some feedback for the developer that I think will make it even better: The number of discs and the different stats/specs is a bit daunting in trying to work out what 4 discs to play on each course. It would be nice to easily see the 4 stats for the discs when in the loadout screen. Also it would be nice to have some details on the holes of each course - par and lengths. I ended up taking drivers into one course I just unlocked and never used as all 18 holes where under 70m. Would even be better to be able to save/load preferred loadouts for each course, or even just manually naming them yourself would work. Also for me the challenge is trying to break par or beat previous best. Would really like to be able to see my best score for each cour...
