About This Game

You got lost here for some ridiculous reason and had to escape.
You have to collect materials, procure food, and search for rockets.

Survival Mode

At first, collect logs and craft woods. Don't forget to collect the leaves at this time!

Look around. And then build a bridge towards the nearest island. You can easily build a bridge by using "Bridge Assist".

Take out the item from the box on the island. In rare cases, it may contain very rare items.

And in the same way, look around and build a bridge.

Once the blocks have been gathered to some extent, we will head to an island that we have never seen.
There may be new discoveries on new islands.

Eventually find the rocket and escape.

Challenge Mode

Unlike survival mode, it is a mode to achieve the goal in a short time.
Players compete for points or times in a specially generated world that is unusual.
Challenge mode content may be added with updates.

Disclaimer: Just listing pro's and con's. Consider this as a Neutral review. Short description: Minecraft's Skyblock stretched into it's own game.
Neutral points.
Islands are prebuilt, but placed randomly around the spawnpoint;
Dropped items are completely physics based. Positives.
Mobs are implemented;
Working electric system;
Basic tutorial;
Interesting islands with random loot;
Airdrops;
Good optimisation;
Nice graphics;
Price. Negatives.
Options can't be changed from the main menu, you have to load a world to do so;
Unskippable intro;
Mobs have collision and can't be pushed;
Movement feels heavy, with inertia and weak jumping;
A wierd need for oxygen alongside hunger, in a place full of trees, animals and grass. It doesn't kill you, but makes you go even slower than you already are;
Mediocre English translation, but comprehensible;
Ledge hanging with Shift...

TL;DR - Skip down to "THE VERDICT" Anyone who has ever played or seen a video about Minecraft, can probably identify this as "Sky Block". I went into it mad that they are trying to cash in on, not only another Minecraft clone, but a paid version of a free minigame someone created withing Minecraft. While I am still upset at the idea, you have to remember that the only way to play Sky Block is to own a copy of Minecraft, or at least install and get into the map. SkyLife however is a variant of Sky Block that runs on its own, and with (somewhat) higher quality graphics. It's the Unity engine instead of Java, however the quality of the textures are really bad. Using an engine capable of textures greater than 16x16 should be using hi-res graphics and models. Just look at Eco and Creativerse as examples. The Crafting system is fairly confusing at first. Rather than unlock items as they are discovered, everything is visible from the start. Coupled with the aforementioned graphic quality, ...

Ok I played for 18min, but I have enjoyed the game this far, but before talking about what I think I should say, I don´t know how much money you have to pay for this game, in my country it is not worth to be honest, I feel like the game could be cheaper in early access. Now, I like the interface, it is not that good looking for sure, but is good enough for me to point it out (and I assure you I am very annoyed by these kind of things), it is simple but I like the font. Now that I said that, I also like the whole vibe the game has, like the colors it uses, being it on the text or the textures, it just looks good like a whole environment, and I feel like some music could help that chill atmosphere (and I just remembered that I liked the cutscene at the start a lot xd). At this point I feel like the game doesn´t give me enough reasons to search for materials, I enjoyed the fact that there´s cannonballs, and maybe there´s more to look at (Ill be playing the game again on these days, a...
