Born from a cult visual novel and carrying decades of community legacy, it doesn’t just compete with big names like Street Fighter or Guilty Gear—it embraces its identity as a fast, anime-inspired brawler with a devoted heart. That sadly comes with more drawbacks than actual advantages. At its core, Type Lumina is fast. Really fast. Movement is fluid, air dashes feel natural, and combat rewards aggression while still leaving room for precision. Very small hit confirms can grow into basically bar-destroying combos that are unstoppable, and restartable if your opponent mashes his or her buttons. I can't really compare it to ANY other fighting game; Melty Blood is just it...

While I am not much of a fighting game person I have had fun playing this on Switch and Steam. The voices, sprites, and animations are very well done and in the style I would expect for a fighting game. The cherry on top is two of my favorite TYPE-MOON heroines are playable: Arcueid and Saber! Sadly, it's inspiration and related game, Tsukihime, is still not on Steam! Nasu, how much longer are you going to keep my beloved Arcueid waiting?

A deep shame that this game does not have more of a community, as far as fighting games go it is truly saucy in its movement mechanics and character designs

Still patiently awaiting the next version of this game. Great music, good little fighting game. AND FREE DLC?!?!?!?! One of the most underappreciated fighting games of this generation.

Before I start I want to let you know this games online is dead, somehow more dead than the game released in 2011, so if you want to play online with people other than friends don't even bother Massive step down from previous entries ESPECIALLY in regards to the character roster and gameplay. This game has 22 characters while the previous has 31, they've also left out fan favorite/important characters like Sion... if you have no reference for this imagine if Street fighter left out Ken or Chun li in the roster, or if Tekken left out Jin or Heihachi. mbaacc had 3 styles for EVERY SINGLE CHARACTER, so if you really want to be like that you could say the previous game had 93 characters, the moon styles (those being crescent, half, and full) changed your character in meaningful ways, they weren't just small differences that are barely noticeable. This game is heavily simplified compared to every other melty and even recent fighting games, there's so little variety in combos for...

GREAT game i love this, this is the first time I enjoying fighting game, and Edmon Dantes is so COOL he is my favourite servant in FGO btw.

the control is more intuitive than guilty gear xrd if you want to start playing fighting game i recommend this game
