If you're a JoJo's fan, it's a pretty good purchase especially on sale due to the abundant fanservice it contains. Otherwise it's a pretty simple and solid fighting game, most enjoyable with friends who also love JoJo's. Not gonna bother with the online matches because I suck, + not many players bothering.

Phenomenal game with tons of interactions and fun references to the series. Only downside is that nobody plays it or knows about it.

I booted up All-Star Battle R expecting a fighting game. What I got instead was a full-blown spiritual awakening where my Computer whispered “ORA ORA ORA” at me until I cried. First match: I pick Jotaro. My opponent picks Dio. Simple, right? Wrong. Five seconds in, Dio stopped time not just in the game but in my actual living room. My microwave was frozen mid-beep. My cat was suspended in the air like a taxidermy exhibit. I had to wait nine seconds until time resumed and my cat slapped me for witnessing godhood. The roster is so cracked that I swear every character was designed by someone who lost a bet. We got a dude who fights with a falcon, a literal baby with a Stand, and a man whose main ability is… being Italian. And yet somehow, it’s balanced. (Okay, that’s a lie. Dio just kills you whenever he feels like it. Balance is an illusion.) The combos are so flashy that after playing for two hours my neighbors called the cops thinking I was running an illegal rave in my ap...

I love JJBA, and this just fits every spot that could exists. Such a perfect game for a perfect series!
