About This Game

Development on this game has ended and the story is unfinished, but its still pretty fun as a mess around for a couple hours game.

Story

You play as Robert Kane, a wanted man for his beliefs. Seek out the science needed to escape this simulated world. Hard science cost hard money. You need more, a lot more. You must cause chaos, steal, rob, and destroy anything in your way. Opening the doors to unlock your reality will be a long and hard journey. Seek out science facilities and pursue the unknown puppet masters of this world. Will you be able to escape?

Gameplay

  • Explore and interact with an infinite procedural world

  • Buildings have interiors with different layouts

  • Rob banks, stores and people

  • Loot can be stored at your hideout to keep it from the law

  • Find and use weapons, some may be harder to find than others

  • Steal and drive vehicles

The Law

The law will try to prevent you from escaping the simulation and causing trouble. The more chaos you cause the more dangerous law enforcement entities will come after you.

Your HUD will indicate your current wanted level and whether or not the law is actively seeking you.

The Loot

It's your money and you need it! Loot is scattered throughout the world with different levels of rarity. Gather all you can get to help you escape.

The Hideout

Your hideout is an important part of your plan to escape. You can stash weapons and cash here to keep it from the law. Save up for your next goal or plan your next heist!

The Evidence

When caught or killed, the law will take your stuff. You can get it back by breaking into the local evidence room.

Great game, enjoying it thoroughly (still getting used to some of the mechanics). I can see the dev is really trying something different here. The low-poly aesthetic that is increasing in popularity actually makes sense if the player is in a simulation as this game suggests. Well done and I hope to see much more as I explore.

Buggy mess. The DEVs really don't seem to care about the state of their games when they release them

|Bottom of the Bin Review| Welcome to the Polyverse is a action first person shooter. You play as Robert Kane, who convinced that he is stuck in a simulation, and will stop at nothing to get out. The game has a nice low-poly style to it, and it's fun to play. The gameplay is very simple, just like any other shooter basically. It does have "magic" powder that puts you into slow-mow, but that just makes the play feel like it's lagging though. The main source of income is robbing people or robbing banks. There are a few bugs here and there, mainly the world around you screwing up and nothing directly effecting you...... of what I've seen so far. And I give this a 3/5.
