This game is very basic but it is also very fun and retro. :)

It can be fun and challenging but the later levels are infuriating, 3-2 and 3-4 especially may rot in hell. While the Super Mario 3 aesthetic is super pleasing, and the music is good, and the core level design is competent. Luckily it is short enough to not overstay it's welcome, I do feel like perhaps focusing more on fun and less on spine crunching difficulty would have made for an overall better product. The controls are also slippery as heck, multiple times I careened off platforms that didn't have any ice physics on them. I'm mixed on this one. Not bad enough to warrant a discouragement from purchase, there's a lot of competency and talent on display, but I'm not sure who to recommend this to. By world 3 I stopped having fun and was beating it just to beat it. Making two thirds of a good game just isn't enough.

The music composed by Vincenti Zghra is excellent and these tunes are similar to NES favorites. After you complete 3-4 which is the final level, you unlock a stage select from the menu screen. Nate's head sprite even changes if you can finish the game. Corruption Mode is a fun bonus mode. I must admit that I got stuck in level 2-4. The best controller I recommend is the Nintendo Switch Pro Controller. I was able to finish the last level with a Switch Pro on Steam. I had more trouble playing this game using a Playstation 4 controller. In conclusion, I recommend buying this game on Steam. The price is affordable and the bonus modes add extra value. I admire the retro game design, because I am currently creating my first Gamemaker game. I would easily purchase a sequel in the future from Kupoapo Games.

Not a terrible game by any means, but very bland and average as far as challenging platformers go. The controls are okay but not super tight like in Super Meat Boy or Celeste, the level design is boring but passable, the graphics and music are decent but nothing special. The game is also very short — there are only 12 levels in total so you can easily beat the game in under 2 hours. For those looking for more of a challenge there are several achievements and difficulty modes which add replayability, but your time is probably better spent playing other, better platformers.

While there isn't much too this game, it's a short and cute timewaster that's easily worth the price. The first few levels are charming and I really like the sprite work and enemy designs. A few things like movement and difficulty could be worked on in my opinion, you easily get what you payed for.
