I am a fan of the Kingdom rush games. But unlike the others I cannot recommend this one. The others came with a load of free DLC, but also had an higher price on steam compared to mobile version.
KR Vengeance is expensive and then wants you to pay for extra content. I regret buying it for this reason.
The game itself doesn't improve on what came before. Give it a pass.

Good old Kingdom Rush that I remember enjoying on an iPad back in 2012. Some things never change, and it's actually exactly what I wanted after a tiring work week. Now you play for the baddie though.

an incredible experience if you love the kingdom rush universe though it isn't well balanced at all, the game is extremely easy and certain towers or heroes make it trivial to the point of barely needing to spend gold to complete the stages. there are a lot of rng mechanics that i don't really like and the towers or heroes you enjoy can't really be challenged with the games content, (with the exception of the pirate kings dlc, which is amazing).
the games three main strong points are the flavour, the art and the multitude of mods that improve the gameplay. the one that i recomend if you enjoy the game and only want it to be similar to the first games is the "Revengeance" mod.
overall it is a quality dip from the first three games but it isn't bad or tedious to play through, still a very much positive experience that has only gotten better through the multitude of updates ironhide has done.
on the game's release i would give it around a 4/10 but through all of the update and balance ch...
