I'm playing Steam games in alphabetical order and you can watch my review here: https://youtu.be/0rRPJF431b8 Prefer to read? 100-Level Dungeon is an RPGMaker game about climbing a tower full of monsters with a generic party of heroes, with one literally called "hero". Even ignoring issues like the clunky dialogue (which could just be due to English not being their native language), the game suffers from a reliance on stock assets for art and music, poor programming and poor balancing. The premise is simple enough: a party of four heroes enter a tower and on each floor they fight monsters. In a rest area between floors you can sell monster parts for money and buy new items before attempting the next floor. Every tenth floor is a boss fight. The problem is that enemies health and damage scale too quickly, and the stat buffs that equipment provide are so low they barely make a difference - and that's if you can afford any after spending all your gold on recovery items to simply stay aliv...

As much as I'll give props to anybody who has created a full game this is probably one of the most imbalanced RPG's I've ever played. Finished with: Fighter, Archer, Magician, Magician + their upgraded forms at level 50. You'll select your classes at floor 10, but then won't really know if your team is viable till floor 31 due to overpowered enemies. Stunlock is the play of the game here, any class that can't stop an enemy from attacking is useless or needs extreme luck to be viable. The 30's were such a wall to beat, that everything after was a cakewalk. Level 80-100 is a boss gauntlet, but by this time you'll have so much money and healing items, it's basically like playing against the Elite Four in a Pokemon game. Equipment was also so pitiful, I still had a majority of Floor 10/20 armor when I finished.
I think I got 2 dollars of enjoyment out of this game. With that said, I don't think you should buy it. I bought this to try my hand (badly) at the $100 bounty and gave up at about level 22 because I got tired. Massive GG to the winner. As many of the other reviews have said, this game is super unbalanced and I've heard the mid 30s are awful and are basically a brick wall. But if you're a masochist and you want to torture yourself, this game is not a bad way to do that.
Games just an standard RPG maker game. crap ton of enemies with far too much HP, just spam damage overtime spells and you'll be fine, for 2 bucks its not the worse but their are way better games then this, honestly you'll be better off buying a bag of chips then to play this game
This game took my family hostage
Only if you love to lose your mind that you will love this game. It is literally a RNG simulator with a bit of "planning" outside of the game.
