Despite being on Steam, this is the inferior version of this game. The developers are still releasing updates, but only for the Apple Arcade version. When the game came out on here, it was missing some of that extra Apple Arcade content and, when inquired when that would be made available on PC, the developers gave a non-answer. Fast forward to February 2023 and the game got yet another map... exclusively on Apple Arcade. If you get this version and you enjoy what's there, good for you. But if you think developers should be more respectful of your time and money, I'd say don't get it at all. They have no respect for either your time or money, sowcased by the sheer lack of support this version has. If they have some kind of deal with Apple that keeps that extra content exclusive to Apple Arcade, methinks they shouldn't have released the game anywhere else.

I quit skating about 17 years ago, which was when I was 17, thanks to college. I will always have a place in my heart for extreme sports, especially skateboarding. With that being said, I have enjoyed playing this game so far. I am not too far in the game, but I wanted to show some love, as I know it's not easy being a dev for a small indie team on Steam, especially when you're trying to get the word out on a new game that may have flew under the radar for many people with big AAA games like Resident evil Village releasing among others recently. I will shed some light on different aspects of the game that I have had some time to experience, except for the music as I admit, I turned on Spotify while playing the game and turned off the in-game music while keeping just the sound effects on to hear the board flips, grinds and bails, all the good stuff. I like the controls, they will take time to get used to as they are quite different from other skateboarding titles I have played whethe...

Great minimalist style with simplistic controls, but it has a lot of complexity. Great replayability too!

This game is great. Super chill music, very cool graphics style, and it's a side scroller. Playing in 4k with no issues running a 3070+i7. I have always wanted something like this and i'm glad I picked this up. The game is challenge based and you earn credits to buy gear, boards, ect. Only 3 maps right now so hopefully we get more content. Very polished game overall and a steal at this price point very fun glad I picked this up. 8/10

The game is great, for someone like me who has always been addicted to skateboarding.. If you are a skater you will play this game all day. If you are a gamer who wants a challenge this game wont last long. I think its the best skate game on PC even with how basic it is. My only problem is that the game is lacking some basic tricks such as board slides, lip slides, feebles. The game is new and cheap so lets hop they keep up with updates so ones day the game will have more but I see endless opportunity especially with the PC community, if they could add a way the community can make levels it would be great. Some flip tricks are missing as well, laserflips are missing and 360 shuvits. overall Id say for the price its a must have.

Skate City is a fun and simple skater game that takes me back to the time of 2D side-scrolling games of the 1980's. That being said one thing that you can surely note is that Skate City gives you great 3D "pseudo" graphics and sound quality to enjoy in this little gem with. While the game is not the type of game where you will spend endless hours playing, you will surely keep replaying it as it has allot to offer and unlock as you progress deeper into it. Check it out Today!
