I enjoyed this game too much. I have less than 13 hours logged, but that time burned a hole right through me chasing a couple challenging achievements. I want to turn off the completionist part of my brain and just enjoy this game, but I'm 100% sure if I try picking this back up again I'll make the experience unfun for myself. The DLC looks really cool too. This is clearly a "me" problem though. The game is fantastic and if my friends visited more often for local co-op games I'm sure we'd have a great time playing this casually. Chasing that "complete the game with 1 life/token" achievement would probably make me irrationally antagonistic to all things turtles.

A good game about ninja turtles. I liked the co-op the most. The only disappointment was the incorrect placement of the hitboxes. (Easy Platinum)
I never got into any version of TMNT in general, so I can only really compare this game to other modern efforts like Streets of Rage 4 and Fight N Rage. Those two are games I hold in high regard, because they're very polished and their combo systems add a lot of flavour to this genre for me. And yeah; the combo system in Shredder's Revenge is great too. The movement-heavy combat system is very simple to get into but encourages mastery. Super meter can only be earned if you're not hit, and you definitely want to always build super meter. The presentation and sound/visual quality remind me of something like Sonic Mania. (...And I immediately found out the same music composer worked on this too so go figure.) I have no nostalgia for TMNT and yet this hits all the right notes as a standalone beat em up. It has a substantial amount of content too. It doesn't change my strong bias for Streets of Rage 4; but Shredder's Revenge deserves to be on the same shelf as SOR4 and FnR. And I'm glad t...
Who would have thought that only two years after getting Streets of Rage 4 we would get another great beam 'em up game, but this time with turtles! Amazing animation, great combos, fun co-op and multiplayer, simple but such a feel-good story. Love the variety of special moves that you can combine with your combos. Lots of playable characters so the replay value is there. Love that the setting is interactive so you can use the environment and your surroundings to destroy the enemies. Lots of small Easter eggs and secrets that you can find if you look carefully. There is absolutely nothing negative that I can say about this game. 10/10. Beat 'em up is so back baby!
What a trip down memory lane! Such a nice change in pace from the newer titles. Loved every second of playing through this game and there is definitely re-play value here. I beat it a few months back and am ready to jump back in to complete all achievements. Would recommend to anyone who likes playing video games in general. Gather some friends, order some pizza from your favorite spot in town and enjoy this masterpiece!!!!!
Great multiplayer game. The game has so many modes and they all feel polished. recommended
old school arcade beat up style with fantastic controls and flair!
I'll try to keep this short. Shredder's Revenge is a fun beat-em up adventure for our pizza loving ninja turtles. You can play solo or with others and you have plenty of characters to choose from. Admittedly, you get more options in characters and game modes if you get the DLC, but that's the only downside I can think of. Give the Foot Clan some shell!
classic modern arcade game
Grab some pizza and some friends and enjoy yourselves.
