I’m going to be honest this game is really amazing, but if I’m keeping it real, The Room 3 was better for me. I do feel like The Room 4 is a little overrated. Don’t get me wrong, I still enjoyed The Room 4 a lot, but it’s much easier compared to the others and a bit more predictable, especially if you’ve played all the previous games. In my opinion, the hardest games in the series are The Room 1 and The Room 3. The Room 3 was truly challenging, and for someone who’s never played puzzle games before, The Room 1 can also be tough. But for me, The Room 3 takes the trophy as the best in the series. That being said, graphics-wise The Room 4 definitely wins it’s the newest and looks stunning. Overall, I really enjoyed all the Room games, and I’m sad this is the end. Hopefully, one day we’ll get a Room 5!

Brilliant. Probably my favorite of all of them. This was a fun and engaging experience that took some of the things I loved the most from the previous games to make this genuinely creepy puzzle game. I'd love more games in this series.
The Room 4: Old Sins, developed by Fireproof Games, is a masterclass in atmospheric puzzle design that continues the acclaimed series’ tradition of tactile, intricate gameplay wrapped in a richly mysterious narrative. Originally released on mobile platforms and later brought to PC via Steam with enhanced visuals and controls, the game takes everything that made its predecessors compelling and refines it further. With its haunting ambiance, layered mechanical puzzles, and immersive environmental storytelling, Old Sins stands out not just as a fantastic continuation of the series but as one of the most polished and rewarding puzzle games available. The narrative in Old Sins begins with the mysterious disappearance of a young couple—an ambitious engineer and his aristocratic wife—leading the player to explore the attic of their estate. There, hidden inside an old trunk, lies a curious artifact: a detailed dollhouse, seemingly modeled after the couple’s own home. This becomes the ...
Fantastic puzzle and story solving. I liked this one better than the first 3 games in the series because there were a lot more little puzzles to solve that lead to a few different paths but all lead to the final puzzle. Really didn't want it to end.
What a great series this was. Again with the fantastic atmosphere, vibe, detail. The curiosity of each part and the story through the journals/notes along with the journey. This one was quite easy to run through and having all parts connected to be able to complete the sections, in the intricate ways. Hints came in handy when you occasionally forgot where you may have seen where an object would go, that you just got. This is definitely a puzzle series to play.
Fantastic. Love the lovecraftian feel of the whole game.
It is a fun escape-room type game and I enjoy the lovecraft vibe it has. Puzzles felt fair and if you get stuck, there is the help button. For my tastes, this was a 10/10. Beat it in 4 hours without using a guide.
My favorite from the series so far I want that dollhouse 9/10
Excellent game. Good puzzles Hints are nice
I've played The Room 1, 2, 3 and 4 and have loved them all. The puzzles are so well thought out and the art style is beautiful. I really enjoyed the thicker storylines in 3 and 4 and am sad that I have finished the series. Please continue to write these games!
