Very short game, bright in colours, dark in phantasy. Playing it made me feel uneasy. The pictures arisen in your mind are kind of creepy, there´s the pink colour and that but the topic is darker. Normally I like that kind of artistic and experimental games, but this one could not catch me. I recommend buying it on sale, if you want to try. To get it off your mind you might need some chocolate ;) Homemade Chocolate Pudding Ingredients 1 cup sugar 1/2 cup baking cocoa 1/4 cup cornstarch 1/2 teaspoon salt 4 cups whole milk 2 tablespoons butter 2 teaspoons vanilla extract OPTIONAL: Sweetened whipped cream and M&M's Directions In a heavy saucepan, combine sugar, cocoa, cornstarch and salt. Gradually add milk. Bring to a boil over medium heat; boil and stir for 2 minutes. Remove from the heat; stir in butter and vanilla. Spoon into individual serving dishes. Chill until serving. If desired, garnish with whipped cream and M&M's.

Pink Gum is a very short journey through a life as told by chewing gum bubbles. I pondered how to sum this game up in a sentence, and I guess that's the best I could do. Not great, really. I think its one of those things that no matter what I might say, you could go, hmm, sounds interesting, but when you actually see it, it will make perfect sense. Which begs the question "Why am I even writing about it then?" Because I think Pink Gum is well worth checking out. For the small amount of time and money you spend, you get a visually appealing, thought provoking experience. I'm also pretty sure that my opinion isn't enough to persuade you, so here are some quotes about the game from famous people. “I cannot think of any need in childhood as strong as the need for Pink Gum.” – Sigmund Freud “Freedom is not worth having if it does not include the freedom to play Pink Gum.” ― Mahatma Gandhi “Human happiness and Pink Gum are inseparably c...

My Experience It's difficult to review Pink Gum, due to the type of experience it is. I can't say I found it "fun" to play, but I appreciated the unique lens through which it shows the stages of life that we are all familiar with. If you're the type of person that enjoys analyzing films (e.g. why did they use this color, or shoot from this angle?), I think you'll enjoy Pink Gum.

A short, interesting and disturbing take on life. Definitely recommend to anyone who is looking for something to make them think (and maybe have a midlife crisis.) I also really appreciate the watercolour art style.

Pink Gum is a short visual narrative told by popping a series of gum bubbles. Other reviewers have called the game dark or disturbing, but I don’t think that’s necessarily true. We all know that our time on this earth is limited. Pink Gum doesn’t really stray far from that point. You can vaguely see the symmetry of our existence but there is no joy and pain to be found here. And lust is serving as love’s stand-in for this performance. The sound design and soundtrack is solid, but I don’t think Pink Gum says or does enough to really feel meaningful.

Pink Gum is a 10 minute interactive art piece about the stages of life. If you're interested in this sort of thing, it's definitely recommended for the asking price.

I did not enjoy playing this game, it made me feel uneasy and disturbed. I'm not a big fan of the subtext but the real issue to me was the way it's depicted → kinda creepy (in my opinion). I usually love those experimental-artistic(-hipster) sort of games... this one had a sour aftertaste, but still, it's not a real no-go. Worth trying if you don't mind the money spent (it's *very* short) !

Short series of slightly interacting animations about life, as seen linked to bubble gum Not quite sure I would pay again 3 euros for 10 minutes like this Art and music are nice, animations are rough

This game is a beautiful experience, I played this at 7:32 am when i was feeling a bit down. I've never felt such a sigh of relief in my life. God bless whoever made this game, it helped my anxiety a bit.

Definitely an interesting little game. A bit of thought to *chew* on. Simple visual novel, literally just visual. If you're expecting some beefy story or anything beyond a bit of clicking I wouldn't recommend it. As I said, it's literally just a short simply visual novel. The art style was definitely interesting and not quite like anything I've come across before. Glad I grabbed it on sale 👍
