This is rad, took a few races to get into the swing of things but it's a ton of fun. When you manage to plan out a well timed shove or throw a mine behind you and have it connect... oh the glory. 1v1 feels super strategic while a full 4 is chaos and things happen real quick. Really dig the customization of the characters so far too, gives ya something to grind for and stand out with on the podium. All in all a really tight game that HAS LOCAL MULTIPLAYER, and for this I am grateful!

There is something here that is compelling but the current balance of the game leaves room for improvement. It is incredibly easy to grief other players to the point they are unable to play entire races by being instantly killed at spawn gates, or pushed of the track. Once other players are awaiting to spawn the remaining player is able to literally stop and halt the game from moving forward. These issues in addition to the camera being so far pulled out leads to frustrating experiences where you feel cheated because its hard discern where you are. I like the focus on combat versus racing but there should be more interesting mechanics along the way to score points. Throwing bombs or power up into objects should net points, tricks of ramps. activating switches literally anything. Allowing players to strategize how to make up points before they reach the end. 2 vs 2 gameplay modes could be very compelling with these kinds of activities and gameplay. My last suggestion would be to ha...
I don't usually write reviews but this game definitely deserves it. For it being in early access, I can see that it has full potential to gain more players as updates are pushed out. I can happily say that the 8 hours of playtime that I've put in are well worth it because it's fun, makes you want to level up to see what you can unlock, and even brings out your competitive side whilst playing against other people. There are a lot of clothing items and patterns to make your characters unique, the combinations are endless. 10/10, would play again.
Woo it really is a cross between Smash & Kart racing. Really enjoying this, very competitive.
super fun party game to play with friends, really fast paced and the controls are very smooth and feel really good!
I got a clown nose for my dog 10/10
This take on an elimination game where you're never out of the action for long is really interesting and well thought out! Environments are beautiful, and each course brings its own interesting challenges. Gameplay is chaotic and fun, and even more fun with friends!
Lots of potential here. Looks like the team knows the genre well and are trying to bring some new ideas to the mix. Excited for updates! The art is amazing, music nails the nostalgia. If you are a fan of this genre this is one to watch for sure.
Meow Meow! Bork Bork! Smash! Wheeee! Oh and hats :)
