Quick Score: 5/5 Notes: My first impression of the game based on the trailer and recommendations from some friends was fairly negative. Looked like a scuffed combination of Pogostuck and Stilt Fella. After playing the game though, I can now confidently say it is indeed what I initially thought, but its also actually pretty good and I overall enjoyed my playthrough going for all the rainbow medals. For 3$ the game is absolutely worth checking out.

About the Game
PogoChamp is a hilarious 3D platformer inspired by I Am Bread and Getting Over It, but with a deliberate focus on being "Fun, Not Frustrating". Where most QWOP-like games involve complex & unintuitive control schemes with lots of buttons, PogoChamp's controls are easy to understand (though still tricky to master).Left stick = Tilt, A = Jump, that's it.
Over 100 Levels!
PogoChamp has over 100 levels that are designed to teach and challenge you, without being antagonistic or frustrating. The levels are unique, funny and surprising in their own right, and feature things like pachinko, a bullfight, skee-ball, mini golf, a giant video game console, a piano and more!^ This is real footage from in-game! (From the leaderboard of level 16)

PogoChamp is a surprisingly deep game. Don't be led astray by the simple looks - it's held up by a complex but clear movement system, tight gameplay, and well-crafted design that makes challenges feel fair. While it can be frustrating and hilarious at times to marvel at your own failures (particularly with the fantastic replay system), PogoChamp avoids the simple categorization of 'rage game' by segmenting the gameplay into individual levels, each with their own tactics, design and gameplay. Add in clear speedrunning components for the fans of mastering the pogo and you get a highly impressive game well worth the price. Hop to it.
Loving the game so far! It has ultrawide support which is nice, and the developer is really friendly and open to feedback. Could be a good speed running game too!
Highly recommended. An awkward control sim that has an amazing amount of depth, challenge, and a great variety of gameplay experiences across the 101 levels included. Once you get past the first hour or so where the controls feel incredibly awkward (and which still continue to feel that way afterwards, but decreasingly so), you'll recognise the amount of polish and love that has been put into the game by the developer. It's a fantastic experience from start to end, and do hope more people have the chance to experience the quality of this hidden gem.
Really fun game! Looks easy at the start, but the difficulty ramp is just right, and getting all stars in each level is a fun challenge. It might not have mind blowing graphics but it does have some "Styyyyyyle" which makes up for it.
This game is easier to control than it seems, though it is pretty tough to master, and those two facts are the perfect ingredients for a fantastic speed game! I had a blast going for all Rainbow times, highly recommend it!
I had a ton of fun playing PogoChamp, despite essentially never playing similar games. I found the controls intuitive and responsive and was really impressed by the variety of the level design. Mastering the movement is not easy, but I was quickly hooked and within a day I was flying through levels, doing flips and trailing rainbows behind me after my properly-timed jumps. For the difficulty curve, the first few levels teach you the basics before the difficulty starts to really ramp up. By the middle levels, you need a solid grasp of the art of pogo, and the game also starts adding in alternative modes of movement, like swimming and rocket jumping. Many of the later levels are extremely difficult. Each level has a set of goal times that earn you stars if you reach them. I liked to go for 3 stars on every level as I initially worked through the game. This helped me develop solid fundamentals that were useful later on, but it certainly isn't the only way to play. I've watched others hav...
so much fun saw the streamer AaronWigwam playing it and had to check it out and i am now addicted to playing it, and highly recommend you will easily spend 40 hours playing it and then another 100 hours trying to beat your friends scores or random strangers scores
Good Time. Simple and Fun. 10/10
Super clean and enjoyable fun! The controls and gameplay are clear and easy to grab, while the challenges and mechanics are diverse and entertaining. UX, music, and sound design are slick. Endless fun with leaderboards and extensive replay function!
