About This Game

Oculus quest is blurry in this game. Vive is way clearer.

All people in this game are adult individuals who understand society and can work without help.
They hatch from eggs only after they become grown up.

There isn't any UI in this game except for crosshair

This is your inventory. No icons, no clickable button.
When you want to save item, draw tool belt and attach to it.

All items in this game is physics simulated.
Even money and bullets can be grabbed, tossed, stacked.

Pickpocket system works like real world because there is no UI showing array of item icons NPCs have.

Crime system-

When you walk outside of shop with not purchased item, nearby NPCs bring guards.
It is ok doing criminal act when no one is watching you.

Pirate hunter, trader and deliverer are official way of earning money.
But there are many ways of making your life.
You can hunt, fish, steal items inside no entering zone, pickpocket riches, collect resource, produce goods and sell them.

About trade and ship battle system,
you can travel entire world with your ship.

The world map is about 1/40 scale of the real earth.

It takes about 2 min from Marseille to Montpellier with fastest ship.

Throw items onto your ship and trade in other cities.

On the ocean, pirates try to rob your goods.

It is your choice becoming pirate hunter or pirate itself.

About weapons,
you can use late medieval weapons in most cases.
Bullets of flintlock muskets are chip.

But enemies are many and strong so you need better weapons.

You can excavate and steal ancient weapons like PPSH-41 and MG42.

Unlike Girls' civilization 1, this title don't have any story.

I was looking forward to this game, however it was released in a very poor state No options, no basic features vr games should have such as turning so the right thumb stick appeared to serve no purpose The game does not seem to be optimized at all. I run higher quality VR games just fine, however in this game as soon as two object collided with each other, my FPS dropped to 2 The game does actually seem like fun, but in my time playing, I just experienced way too many frame rate dips that it just outweighed any enjoyment however, there was very nice voice acting and every character had over the top skirt physics. very cool

To be honest... Why the hell did you even start this project? Girls Civ 1 was pretty good but it was still in fairly dire need of improvement. But, I figured it was more of a concept to push and build GCiv2 forward, so I was pretty okay with that. Then this... disappointment... came out. Cut much of what made the first game great, things like massive troop combat, character customization, base building, sieges, story line. And everything that was left over got degraded, most buildings are terribly unfinished, the so-called "inventory" system is a god-awful mess, and physics is about 100 times buggier, and even the bug fixes got worse! What kind of bug fix is "Auto Save and Force Restart Every 3 Hours?" That's not a bug fix! That's the kind of thing I'd expect from a first time dev desperately trying to debug his first alpha version of a game! And apparently this is the final release version, and you're now moving onto GCiv 3?! What, the, hell. So, shoutout to the dev. Stop...

This is an odd game. I had fun the first 10 min of the game but then the flaws took over. The controls feel rubbery and immersion breaking. If you hold a sword and shake it has a really weird rubbery effect where the weapon is held in your hand. After talking to an NPC they will run to the next point as fast as the flash while your walking speed is normal and there is no sprint. Since all the girls lookalike you will quickly miss out which NPC you where supposed to talk to. They are also rude throwing stuff on you like chests and other items. The models look really weird when you drag them or kill. There is a teleport function which I dont like where you shoot an arrow but the control and feeling of is off. Maybe in a year when the game is more polished I will revisit it, but for now I can not recommend it.

Steam page says the Vive is required, I played just fine with my rift. Game seems very early in development (which it is) but seems to have a lot of potential. A little confusing at the moment with a lack of any idea what i am doing but still enjoyable.

The japanese voice acting and overall ambience makes the world feel alive. Has a proper JRPG feel. Reminds me of Ephermeral Fantasia on the PlayStation 2 which everybody hated but I played the heck out of it.

This Game is Dead . Don`t buy . On Top of that , it is badly optimised for vr controlls and managment . Your inventory sucks and always floats around your waist , and you keep on dropping stuff unintentionaly .

Fun but optimised by drunk monkeys. the game itself can be pretty fun, funny a times too when you forget the button to interact and end up punching someone, only to end up on the receiving end of a musket volley. stuff like having to manage your ammo supplies by adding bullets to magazines or trying not to starve to death gave it a surprising bit of difficulty. but all this is under one big issue, performance, more specifically the morphing blurs when you move. it isnt at all bad when playing desktop mode but it makes playing in VR a bit of a challenge. but when the janky skirt physics or the eye melting blurry mess that is movement isnt a thing, the game is quite pretty. overall i would give it a 7.5/10

It's a neat concept. But it's not viable as a game. First of all, the Dialog is haphazard even in Desktop Mode, i can't imagine saying this is "English" in VR. Second of All, it has no lineage with Girls Civlization 1, and Supposedly no Association with Girls Civilization 3 (which is a pity because GC1 was atleast good at character customization and a decent story, this doesn't have any speciality what-so-ever). Third, the Game has long since been abandoned by the developer; even leaving behind janky fixes like "Restart the Game every 3 hours to prevent crash" as a toggle. Really Hacky that. They Moved on to Milking GC3. Fourth, Girls Civilization by all accounts has gotten WORSE in GC2 (which I played first tbpf, Only bought GC1 after the fact to find out what all the fuss was about, no way I'm going to buy GC3 (b'cuz of permadeath)) Fifth, almost all of this game is...sadly un-optimized even on the Desktop Mode. I can't imagine that VR is any better because of people reporting ...

Although the game says it offers English subtitles and interface, after the initial starting location this is just not the case, and dialogue from NPCs and your own dialogue options are just blank. It's unplayable like this. I'm right at 2 hours play time, so I hope I can still request a refund.
