I don't know what I did or how I did it. I am a big fan of chess then I found out I could slaughter my opponents if 14 different timelines by accident. 10/10 Would recommended to even chess noobs because it evens the playing field

it's been 3 years since playing this and i only recently avoided death by sending a bishop back in time to an alternate universe to assassinate the queen in the present that checked my king in the past.

I once believed I understood chess. Then I played 5D Chess With Multiverse Time Travel—and reality folded like a badly-drawn rook in a parallel timeline. Turn 1: Opponent moves a pawn in the present. Harmless. Turn 2: Opponent moves a rook backwards in time. Concerning. Turn 3: A queen I’ve never seen before appears from an alternate timeline and checks my king last Thursday. I am being checked in multiple realities simultaneously. One of my kings is in check before he was born. Another is in check during a move I haven’t made yet. I blink, and a bishop from a lost timeline checks me in a dimension I never visited. I lost in three turns. In four timelines. From two different realities. I have seen pawns travel back in time to assassinate unborn kings. I have seen in dimensions mankind was not meant to glimpse. I once forked a rook across six boards, five dimensions, and the silent screams of a timeline that never existed. This isn't a game....this is an eldritch ritual...

the whole multiverse time travel shenanigans are not bothering me, what actually bothers me is that I can't choose to promote my pawns to knights instead of queens :')

Pay to Win due to the fact the sheer amount of timelines is able to crash computers as your win condition. Recommended because I had the better computer.
