About This Game

Hey! I am a big fan of "Wolfenstein 3D" and John Romero. I made this game to show my respect to them. I have collected and studied a lot of videos and articles of John Romero, learned a lot about game design concepts, and applied them to my game. For example, horseshoe-shaped game level design.

Try to find all the secret locations and you will get many surprises. This is not difficult, because the locations are all marked on the compass.

Honestly this is more a neutral review. It's an all right homage to Wolf 3D with pretty good gunplay, a decent length with the typical maze-like leveldesign for quite a cheap price. It does have issues though: -I'd say it's mainly the difficulty and the balancing. Even on the lowest difficulty this is quite a difficult game. Enemies hit quite hard, enemy projectiles are very fast (at least not hit-scan) hp items are quite rare -it has mandatory secrets which are not always that obvious to find -weird hotkeys for quick saving/loading (save: ctrl+f1-f5; load: f1-f5) and you cannot change the key binding; though at least it has both -it's a bit buggy, like it happend for me twice that all enemies in a map were dead when I started the map or at some point I suddenly got all weapons and max ammo for all weapons for no good reason -the level design can be a bit too maze-like and some levels are too big -you can exploit the enemy AI quite easily, together with the op knife you can cheese mo...
