Game is really fun but basically unplayable on anything other than an Oculus Touch controller and I doubt they'll fix it since it presumably uses the Oculus runtime. Why?: - The game requires face buttons to use abilities. Don't have them? Too bad. - The game uses the Index capacative surface as one button. The whole thing. Have a tiny bit of the palm of your hand on the surface? That counts as gripping it. - The game only has icons for the Oculus Quest. Every instructional dialog is for the Quest 2 controller, every prompt is for the Quest 2 controller. So I don't recommend you get this game unless you have a Quest 2.

This game is fantastic. One of the most fun and exhilarating VR games I've played. The combat is straightforward but so satisfying. Learning the swing arcs and timing is where the real skill is and getting the perfect swing angle feels so good. I've been playing on the Index with the Knuckles and although it's not ideal to trigger the grapple with the touch grip, it's totally playable and just requires some getting used to. Easy recommend.
I played this when it was on Oculus store only, and it was a great time! The movement was easy to learn, felt really good, and surprisingly doesn't cause motion sickness! Visuals are simple and easy to follow, and the soundtrack is dope. Well worth picking up.
im psider man
Insanely fun and easy to pick up. Shoot robots with dual wielding pistols and swing around like Spiderman in VR, what's not to love? The controls are intuitive and the game just feels awesome as soon as you start. Also NO MOTION SICKNESS? HOW? I'm still working my way through the campaign but enjoying it so much I'm reviewing now. Been looking at the leaderboards too and there are some insane scores so ppl who've played a lot are realllly good, definitely gonna try going for some of those once I'm good enough. Would recommend for anyone who likes action games, arcade shooters, and VR beginners. Really just a great game for everyone.
One of my favorite VR games. Where do I even start. Wonderful art style that is so well suited for the game and platform. The movement is just top notch in every way. The campaign is fun and fresh the whole way through with the different skills and weapons. Man, this game is just satisfying to play. Spider-Man with guns does not do this game justice. It is a fast paced high flying action packed blast with nothing but fun to be had. Multiplayer soon, please. I need to see what maps y’all come up with and zip around blasting the enemy team.
Originally I wouldn't recommended it because the controls were completely bugged for my specific headset. However, shortly after my review the developer reached out to me to ask for more info and within a day had a fixed build for me to test which was great and I was very impressed by their response time. Only issue was that it took a further month or two before the update actually came out on steam. Not too big of a problem, but because of my specific setup it was really cumbersome to play something that wasn't directly on steam. TLDR: I had to wait until recently to really get to play it again properly. Good news though. Provided it works on your setup, it is an incredibly fun time! It's really fun just swinging around and figuring out cool ways to move yourself around the level. The game does a great job at introducing new enemy types and weapons quite frequently, and it can become very challenging very quickly. I've had a blast, and still look forward to playing more soon. Also...
This game is an absolute blast! I don't know what else to say about this game. I usually look for realistic sport, action or puzzles solving games. But I decided to try Swarm in the 15 minute free trial. That's all it took...one try and I was hooked. This game is a riot! It combines shooting, flying and grappling into one of the best arcade style shooters I have ever seen in my life .Someone said 'spiderman with guns' I have to agree. YOU GOTTA TRY IT! Devs. FANTASTIC WORK on this one!
Really fun game, just needed to get used to the controls.
SWARM has exceeded my expectations - this is what VR games should be. The art style looks super clean and the physics make the game an absolute blast. Really nailed how to make movement feel good. I played with my nephew- great game for anyone. Did I mention the music?!
