Just make sure you select which option you want to use in the game options before starting a game. While I'd like to see the options off sliders for the sound effects and music, an off or on switch for these is all that's currently available. There are also no resolution settings, but there is a full screen or window option which helps. The controls are crisp and responsive regardless of which control option you've made. Sound effects are well done, but I did notice that your ships basic fire has no sound at all, which makes the game feel like it's missing something.. and it is! My biggest complaint with Metal Swarm Infinity is that there just isn't enough variety in the basic enemies and bosses. It's the year 2021, and even though this game only costs $5 U...

Man, this game is difficult. But I love a good challenge and am happy to say I made it past wave 50! Very addicting to where I could just keep playing and playing :)
