This FPS has ZERO redeeming qualities outside of its cheap price tag (There are plenty of better FPS games out there for the same price or cheaper) Video Review: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mhi3mGzt2wI - Landscapes are so barren and flat outside of the small villages you are meant to "Liberate" - AI are either braindead or terminators and they seemingly forget your existence when you step behind any cover - Guns are eh. Recoil is alright but the sound design is just poor - Their "Passive Multiplayer" is...non existent. - Polygon Arts are known developers for making sub-tier quality games and releasing them out of Early Access even though they aren't close to finished.

This has promise to be a nice little game for WWII buffs There are some things that could be improved but the developers has a survey open that will give people an opportunity to add ideas....however I do dig the large open map with objectives. It's a neat idea

Updating this after many patches. The updates seem pretty regular and many of the things mentioned below have been implemented. Game could still use some AI work and I'd stil like to see a more robust upgrade/level system but so far so good. Original review: Love the concept and especially the notion of a passive multiplayer that can change things dynamically as your game session goes. The background combat sounds are amazing! Pretty good foundation so far, but there are some things I'd like to see improved or added: - The ability to change the volume - The weapon wheel needs work. Doesn't always come up when clicked - Ability to map gun slots to buttons like 1 for weld gun, etc. - Should be able to shoot out windows/break the glass - AI seriously needs improved. You can shoot them at range where they can't see you and they just take it. - AI should be doing something. They just stand around. Would be cool to see them patrol a bit more or even engage in combat with other AI or some...

This game is super disappointing. The trailer and screenshots showcase beautiful environments and a minimal HUD, when in reality, what you get is a flat lighting scheme and a cluttered HUD, which together just draw more and more attention to the copy-pasted assets spread throughout the map. All of this combined with the goofy AI just makes for a boring experience. I really hope the developer continues to build on and improve this game, because I think that it could be a truly unique and enjoyable experience, but in its current state, it's just not worth the price.

Edit: I have continued to play the game as updates release, and while the developer has definitely made improvements since I bought it, his commitment to content updates and franchising over quality control shows that the game still has far to go before it's earned the price tag it currently sports.

The concept sounds good but the execution is atrocious. The A.I. is quite possibly the worst I have ever seen they don't respond to sound only direct line of sight and if you get an object between you and them they become unaware of your existence, as soon as you get a rifle you can just kill all of them from a distance while they just stand there. The map is large enough to make the lack of an in game map annoying, and the game gives you no direction towards your objectives leaving you to wander about massacring the hapless A.I. and blowing up conspicuously unmanned tanks and heavy weapons. the graphics are decent enough but the animations are very stiff and unnatural and the destroyed state of objects looks like a light coating of rust applied to an otherwise unscathed model. Even at the low price point it just isn't worth it.

TLDR: it's not ready yet, and may never be. The concept is killer. Drop the player into a realistic WWII map with Nazis to kill and randomized objectives to complete. Unfortunately, as it stands now, the actual game delivers on little of this promise. Gunplay is floaty, enemies constantly deal tiny amounts of damage, enemy sight lines are unpredictable, exploration is slow (most buildings and towns lack any identifying features), much of the combat is firing at enemies randomly dropped into open fields, enemies move while shooting with robotic precision, and you lack any meaningful stealth options. XP is only awarded after finishing a mission, which can take you 10-15 minutes wandering around sparse maps being constantly pestered by enemies that never really feel like a threat. Sometimes, you get to the exfil point, only to be killed by a mob of Nazis in a hail of gunfire that is somehow both comical and strangely boring, causing the last 10-20 minutes of your life to be completely ...

Terrible. Feels like a game thrown together in FPS Creator. Boring, simplistic, and no fun at all.

A refund for me. No AI at all, you can shoot an ennemy from distance and it will not react. You fight near a guard and he doesn't move until you face him.

Highly recommended for WWII old fans or single-player based FPS users. Reasonably priced, good timekiller with random missions, decent visuals and accurate weapon models. Totally liked it. would be much better if story missions would be added. Highly recommended. 9/10

Nice looking game and good concept re: sandbox WW2 FPS, but the AI is intolerably stupid.
