This game was pretty fun. It's a simple concept of just keep running till you find a door and try not to get murdered. It gave me some good scares and it looked and ran well. There were a few things I didn't enjoy. I think you shouldn't have to restart every time you die especially since the doors appear in random spots. Also you can't tell if someone is still chasing you unless you turn around and that will pretty much instantly get you killed. Overall it's good for only $5. Pretty scary and fun little game! I like how the monsters look and the sounds they make! I also like the idea of this game. I do wish there was a checkpoint system after every door so players don’t get frustrated after almost beating it and having to restart. Also when you get chased by a monster, after a while the sound cuts off so you don’t know if they stopped following you or not. Other than that I think this game is really good for what you pay and all the scares it brought with it. Thank you
The game was really fun, and scared me a lot. I was kind of confused when getting chased for the second time since he creature sounded weirdly louder like he was right on me then got lower. Glad this game seem to have unlimited stamina would be a rap if that wasn't the case. the only problem I mostly had was the mouse sensitivity as it gave less control over how fast you can look around which in a running horror game was a bit hindering. Other than that the only thing that was missing was a save option. Your free to check out my video here. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z59uo3HrZe4
Check out my gameplay if you want to see my unbiased first reactions to the game. https://youtu.be/n3aPuu-VRjE This game is a good experience, very dark, atmospheric, at creepy. Its not hard by any means but its good enough to enjoy for an hour or so. Lots of exploration with it comes to the levels and you have to dodge around the monsters/demons. Would love to see this game branch of into different episodes that contain an on going story. As far as flaws I cannot think of anything that stands out. I new what I was purchasing and knew it was going to be short and creepy. Nightmare Zone never crashed or gave me any bugs but I have a really good computer so that could be the reason. The game seems like a good jumping off point for something more in the future, I hope the developers put more into it. I would give it a 3/5. Its average but its good. With more combat or story it would have been a 4 or 5 though.
not fun...just sprint until u find a door
Nightmare Zone is a really fun indie horror game. The two developers really has put a lot into this. The levels look really different from each other and are really well put together. The sounds and noises even more amazing! The bird sound, gets me every. single. time. The background music does a really good job with getting on my nerves and making me sweat even when the monsters aren't even close yet. And the glitch effect, love it. Awesome, awesome game.. can't wait to see what they come up with next! <3
wasnt fun or good..........
