Do Animals Dream?

I purchased the game to play on stream. The content warnings are accurately described and I recommend those sensitive to dark and moral themes to be wary while playing. I think as a streamer, it was a very fun game to play while having an audience. There was a lot to react to. As an indecisive person though it was very hard to make decisions compared to other games because there are a lot of heavy moral questions and extreme choices. The start felt very slow, but when it got to the gameplay and exploring the stories behind the island and characters it was very fun. There were some intentionally humorous moments I got a good laugh on. The endings of the game were my least favorite part. The themes become ultimately clear in this moment but never left me satisfied. I would not label this as a "feel good" game. That said, the NPC dialogue is really clever and well written. The responses you get to choose as the player, however, sometimes were on the extreme of very cheesy and positive...

I love this game because: -A single run of it is short and sweet. -It's light-hearted in some ways but treats animal themes seriously at the same time. -Has an "animals should be treated with real respect" message. -Has mystery and multiple endings (I've only seen one but I know there are more). -The pacing is fast and the gameplay is simple. Definitely worth the money and the time!

There's a lot of propaganda out there for animal welfare and veganism. This game is not like that. Instead, Do Animals Dream does an excellent job placing the player in a series of thought-provoking scenarios. Playing the game involves having a series of internal conversations about ethics, consciousness, and humanity's role in the ecosystem. Somehow, the game manages to explore these themes without coming across as boring, pedantic, or preachy. The characters are cute, funny, and lovable. The environment is upbeat and serene. The contrast between the fun, playful environment/characters and the ethically deep questions posed by the game leads to a fantastic experience. I highly recommend the game, regardless of your current thoughts on animal welfare/veganism. The game did not push an agenda on me; instead, it helped me explore my own thoughts and reach my own conclusions.

great game! The graphics are a great vibe, but as you enjoy your way around with the cute animals and graphic don't be fooled by the dark side of the game! The game was really fun to play, I liked doing the quests and meeting new characters! The game overall is a 8/10. The game is great, but its not for everyone, as you go through the game they really emphasize being vegan and treating animals equally, so I know some people wont like that but to me I don't mind seeing the view point of a vegan and learning more about animals feelings. The game is great for people who want to play a relaxed game and follow through a story of a dude who just seemed to appear on this island ruled by animals..

I posit i must eat the world before the world eat me. I posit that this world is suffering based on consumption. Therefore, i conclude this universe is corrupt to the core. The only way for something to live is if it take action. Are you done being complicit for your attainment of something in this world. What meaning do you make it is for naught. Do not feign ignorance hoomans step outside this cage with no walls and see that plenty are suffering. If i erase your existence with just one dash of my almighty wand you cease to existence and no one remember you. How will you feel did you achieved anything of meaning beside your own delusions. I will stop the cycle of action continuum. Frozen atlas the universe painted still in a beautiful eternalness. The clock of energy has stop. I am the eater of worlds of existence i am death albeit. Firstly, I just want to warn everyone that this game has a sad story and some of the images may be traumatizing. The game is really beautiful and the story makes a lot of sense. You will see circumstances through the eyes of a human as well as the animals and you need to make friends wherever you go. I personally would not buy this game at the price it is listed for, however I do recommend getting the game on a special.

I wasn't sure what I was getting into. I thought it would be a horror game-shock-gore-fest camouflaging itself as cute(It has horror elements but i wouldnt think of it as a horror game) However it is something far more interesting, As I see it, it is a deconstruction of some aspects of extreme ecological propaganda. White the game probably agrees that cruelty towards animals is unacceptable, it seems to criticize-comment on the demonization of eating meat. It tries to make us think on this matter. All in all, it was fun, even if a bit short. I have unlocked the two of the three endings, now I will try to unlock the third.

Pretty good game! The dialogues are humorous and light hearted at first, but it gets dark and morbid very quickly, which I actually like. The stories lines are good, and the arts assets are cute. Thought I do wish it has better graphics and performs better on my mac book.

Black Vein Productions does it again! The game is extremely thought provoking and interesting. It makes you deeply examine the way you look at animals but doesn't come off as preachy. The characters are cute and the dialogue is fun. The environments are beautiful as well. This game will leave a lasting impact on you in a positive way. Definitely get this game!! 10/10!!
