Overall, as I guy who mostly plays platfromers, I enjoyed -SPROUT-. The game is very nicely done, although it only took me half an hour to beat the first time. Grinding for leaderboards/finding collectables is pretty fun though! I'd say it'll take you 4-5 hours to complete the game 100% Art is noice, music is even better. Gameplay is not frustrating (levels are very short = no punishment for death). Nicely done. Every level is a single screen and takes seconds to complete, but the variety of mechanics and clever level design, combined with extremely solid controls makes for an incredibly enjoyable experience from start to finish. The game is designed with speed-running in mind and will automatically track your time through each of the 5 zones and 100 levels. The icing on the cake is the wonderful music by Failpositive. -SPROUT- is a short experience, but if you love fast paced platformers like Celeste and Super Meatboy, you'll enjoy every minute of it.

If speedrunning is your thing, this is the game for you. This Micro-Platformer, similar to "Celeste" is easy to pick up, but hard to master. The controls are fair and accurate (However, you will find yourself getting enraged when you make a mistake). Each world can take up to 25 min, depending on speed, and you'll find yourself coming back to it to improve your time. The simplicity of each level may lead many to think the game is straightforward, but each level is has a unique challenge that you need to overcome. If a speedrunning platformer is something your interested in, then this is the game for you. Edit: I have slaved away at the game. Somehow, it speaks all Sonic to me - some tunes remind me of Gene Gadget, some of the Endless Mine Zone, and you're apparently gathering the local flavors of the Ultra Powerful Gemstones. Hidden gem for the speedrun-minded players.

Fun precision platformer! I needed a little under 5 hours to 100% everything. There are 5 stages in total -- each one with a couple dozen screens or so. It's one of those games where you die a lot until you develop a consistent strategy for each screen, and then it's just a matter of execution. If you're into speedrunning and tricky platforming, give this a shot.

Game is more annoying than anything else. Be warned.

-SPROUT- is a concentrated burst of platforming goodness. If you enjoy precision platformer games such as Celeste and are looking for a new challenge, look no further! I had a lot of fun jamming to the music and trying to complete the levels as quickly and as precisely as I could. The game may be short, but has great replayability and offers you the chance to compete for a spot on the leaderboard. I feel the game offers a lot of value, and I highly recommend it!

What is this, a platformer for ants?

Disclaimer: My scores/reviews are almost always based on having bought the game at close to the "lowest historical price" on steam at time of purchase. Quick score: 5/5 Notes: Fun simple platformer, achievements offer decent challenges for more playtime. Just playing through without going for achievements would be about 45 minutes to an hour of playtime. All achievements would be about 3-4 hours play time.

this game is a fun and creative platformer that is challenging but not frustrating. Though the game is short (it plays for about 2 hours) for 6$ it is a great game.
