The map can be punishing at times, but you usually have a safety net before falling, control might be hard to get but it become really easy once you get it. I love/hate the new mode after finishing the game since it make the game way harder, but its good practice for the achievement Theres a big con to this game though, on some platform, your poo animation will play but your character will stay at the same place, its still rare, mostly happen on some cloud platform, but still really annoying when it does happen. There's another bug that is however good for you. Step 1. Have cutscene enable. Step 2. Reach a cutscene Step 3. Oh no you fell and lost lots of progress Step 4. Go into the menu and replay the cutscene. Wait for it to end, don't skip it Step 5. You are now stuck where the cutscene start. close the game reopen it and you won't be stuck anymore. Tldr. Cutscene are checkpoints. Re-watch them, close game reopen game and hurray And there's two small con, when you reset a run...

About This Game
This game was inspired by "Getting Over It with Bennett Foddy"
If you hated that, you'll hate this one too :)
Play as Willy, a small boy with a lot of crap to give.
Willy's cat died so the only logical action is to go get the cat back from heaven.
By using poo to fling Willy. you climb your way along the unforgiving and difficult path to heaven.
Features:
- Easy to learn but hard to master climbing mechanic using only your gut.
- A narration voice to remind you of your failures, hardships, and progress.
- A heartwarming and humorous story with cutscenes that you get to explore as you climb.
- About 1-5 hrs of gameplay depending on your skill level
- No checkpoints, who needs them anyway. (it does save your position, so you can quit and return)
- Lots of poop.

Im mad as hell but for some reason I keep playing. Good game!
it might sound silly, but I was expecting better. as a big fan of Getting Over It, I was hoping this would scratch that same itch. seeing as a good amount of the positive reviews on here are from people who've enjoyed that game as well. I've noticed that games in this vein often feel unfair in ways that GOI just doesn't. in GOI, if you fall you still have the chance to catch yourself with your "oversized yosemite hammer" (unless you f u c up really bad). in this game and others like it, you don't have that extra level of safety / learning curve of getting out of a bad situation. which is fine! but having less control is a turn off for me personally and just isn't fun. so if you feel the same way, prob avoid this one. the game isn't bad, it's obviously well made for what it is, just not my cup of tea. the menu UI looks really nice tho. also, if it was only a few bucks I might not have requested a refund. I think $10 is a bit too much. <----- maybe too much brain power for a g...
I got this game for free +30SEK I would like to give this game a neutral score, since it's a well-made game, but not one that I personally enjoy. The graphical style is cute and inoffensive, but there are some readability issues when it comes to determining if an object is part of the background or foreground. I found myself crashing into objects that I expected to pass right through and searching the game world for surfaces to stand on, flinging myself towards this and that to see if it might be a solid object. The controls on the other hand are the best part of the game, very responsive and easy to use. The one thing I feel the controls are lacking is the ability to nudge yourself left or right, since taking small steps using the “poo launcher” is a risky endeavor and more often than not result in you falling all the way down to the start of the area. If you’re looking for a mechanically challenging game and you have good frustration resistance, then I’d recommend this game...
Don't let the lighthearted graphics and asinine theme fool you, this game is both challenging and rewarding. The mechanics seem simple at first but have some subtleties: as the player character is connected to the ground through the chain of turds, it can be used to swing around and change trajectory in unexpected ways. The ramping up of the difficulty level in traversing the world is pretty well balanced, I always made a break through just before I got too frustrated.
This game is definitely not my type of genre. But it's a glorious sh!t-show that's a lot of fun. Solid 5/7, would play again!
A sollid mixture between selfhate and ultimate plesure when you colmplete that fucking chimney obstacle. God why!? why do i contunue when all i want to do is throw my mouse at the creen. 10/10.
it sure is
its good but if you select a cutscene then proceed to watch the cutscene it will spawn you where the cutscene takes place but not allowing you to move
Fine line between frustration and challenge, and this game crosses it. Got angry within a few minutes of playing and refund.
