STAYHOMER

To be clear, I have not spent 56 minutes playing this game. I left it running to make sure I hit the minimum time needed to write a review. I had seen the entirety of this game in about 15 minutes. For three bucks, you can get this, or 4 chicken nuggets at most fast food places. Chicken nuggets are pretty great. STAYHOMER isn't great, but it's trying, goddamnit. The main character, known only as STAYHOMER, moves slower than most grandmothers when not sprinting. When holding shift, the movement is roughly on par with walking casually. This is fine, as all targets are stationary. Nobody gives a shit in this game, which is also fine, because you've got two minutes to shoot a small neighborhood of Tokyo full of rockets. That's it. That's the game. You have an infinite supply of rockets, it's the present day, and people aren't staying home. Some are wearing masks, sure, but fuck it. Lethal force is authorized. Blow them the fuck up. Your targets are always in the same spots, which limit...

The game has a better written story than the last of us 2. But I can only hope this gets workshop mods for some more fun and memes.

ROFLMAO Brings back memories to the 90's gaming. Can't wait for mods / more of this :D

coronavirus is cancelled

I can't knock this game, it's priced fairly and its a rather funny small little game! The USA have threatened to bomb Japan due to its anti-lockdown protesters spreading disease. You take the role of STAYHOMER who uses excessive force to save the country! There are 3 possible endings and one of the is particularly hilarious! I've honestly played better, free UE4 games (Undefeated and Walking Simulator, the Death Stranding spoof). I think the premise is hilarious and did enjoy the 5 minutes I spent with the game - but then it was over. Massively overpriced for 5 minutes of entertainment.

I love it. It is really extreme short, but all works together with good graphics and great sounds. It is clear, that the dev put efffort in it, with voice acting and different endings. And it comes with a nice touch of humor. I can understand, that some think, the price is too high for a 5 minute game, but if you have enough money to spend, then check it out.
