About This Game

Your bank balance is tiny, but your ambitions are big.

With a little help from your uncle, you get an apartment and your first job. But then it's up to you to achieve success and take over New York City any way you like.

Slowly build multiple small businesses, grow them into huge corporations, or carve your own unique path – the possibilities are limitless in this vast business sandbox. You've never played anything like this!

Go from a small apartment and public transport to luxury suites, fast cars and designer furniture. Put your money into investment funds and real estate. Succeed, fail, rebuild. But remember to take care of yourself, sleep and stay happy on your rise to the top.

Do you have what it takes to build your own empire?

Go from nothing to the most prominent tycoon in New York. Start a business, work smart, make it thrive and enjoy your life. How do you want to be successful? How far can you push it? How long can you make it last?

Start your own gift shop, supermarket, coffee shop, law firm, clothing store, liquor store, florist, and more. You decide what success is - whether it’s a single shop, a chain of fast-food restaurants, a huge corporation, or making millions developing websites.

Take out a loan, rent a building, design the logo, renovate the store, get stock, manage your money, hire staff, and build your infrastructure. Soon, you may have to start importing products from the harbour and distributing them through a network of warehouses.

A bigger business means managers. Hire HR Managers, Logistics Managers, and Purchasing Agents. They all need desks and computers, so you’ll need a fancy headquarters.

Need a delivery truck? Travel to a dealer and buy one. Need food? Go to a supermarket, but make sure you have a refrigerator at home. Big Ambitions is a life sim where your character has to physically interact with the world to survive and succeed.

Enter any building in New York and buy it. Go from a small apartment to a dream penthouse in midtown, a luxurious townhouse in Hell’s Kitchen, or a series of skyscrapers. Fill each with furniture that suits your style and standing. Invest your hard-earned cash in real estate to grow your empire. Take over the city piece by piece.

Spend your wealth however you wish. Buy a big SUV, a speedy sports car, or the new luxurious Mersaidi S500. Maybe risk it all at the casinos or put your money into investment funds and reap the rewards.

As you progress, you always need to ensure you get enough sleep and stay healthy and happy. Enjoy the journey, for as you grow older, you’ll discover that money can’t buy you time... or can it?

Big Ambitions takes what you love about the viral sensation ‘Startup Company’ to even greater heights.

The beginning of the game is great, but there is absolutely no mid or end game. I haven't played in a bit, so i downloaded it and started a new game. Opened a law firm immediately. Made some cash slowly, hired more lawyers, hired an HR person, suddenly making 10k/day. Now what? Sure I can keep expanding... but why? There's nothing to do but sleep and watch the money go up.

This game sets out to deliver the kind of immersive business simulation experience that’s been sorely missing from titles like The Sims. On paper, it offers a wealth of features and the potential for genuine fun. Unfortunately, in its current state, it falls short of its ambitions. Despite the impressive range of options, the game is riddled with bugs and questionable design decisions that undermine its core gameplay. For instance, why can’t I simply call a shop to place an order? Being forced to visit the shop in person the first time feels unnecessarily restrictive same as driving to the other side of the map to talk to a recruitment agent you could have just quickly called before the first visit . Similarly, the HR system is baffling—paying hundreds of dollars for staff recruitment+ course at the beginning , only to later discover that a $55 sign could’ve attracted free employees and allowed me to invest in training instead and this mechanic never been explained during the ...

This game is like the girl who was hot in 6th grade. When it first came out it was awesome. Then as we all got older together it lost all its appeal. Not sure if she just couldn't mature with the rest of us, or maybe she got fat and just doesn't look the same now. The biggest problem with Big Ambitions has been lack of any mid or end game. It seems the developer is blind to that. I was excited, waiting for his update to come out. After reading about specifically what they updated, it is essentially nothing exiting enough to even play. "More early game changes, and factories update version 2" is probably what they should have called this update. The factories update was essentially pointless. Cant produce enough to make a large empire, you still have to buy more to have enough to sell. Theres still no mechanic to sell excess goods produced, probably because you cant even produce enough to satisfy your own businesses. The whole economy probably needs re-worked. Real estate and facto...

This game definitely gives you a lot of freedom in terms of business opportunities. It's itched a scratch that I've had for quite a while that supermarket simulator (Don't get me wrong, ss is a good game) and other games couldn't help me with. The game is still in development and I'm excited to see what more is added. It's a great game so far. I keep needing to repair my car though (I keep crashing into things, I'm a bad driver fr)
A Game with Great Potential
After redownloading yesterday. I must say it is a good game but not at is full potential. I tried the EA 0.9 update. After thinking of quitting again. Mostly because it lacks and loops of Mid to End gameplay. I looked at the roadmap and i must say i am hyped again. Now hoping that the game is not getting dropped.
The Verdict
For now it is a okay with some good content but the potential is from my point of view one of the greater business games of it's potential is fulfilled For now a 4⭐ out of 5⭐ If you wanna look at the roadmap below is a link: Roadmap

Excellent game! I just bought it today and already have 7 hours. This is a good testament to how good this game is. I'm looking forward to building my business empire but I already have some suggestions to the devs. 1). Please add in the ability to run Pharmacies, Music Record Label, Soft Drink company, Music Instrument store, Home Security (sell video cameras, security stuff, etc), Security company (armed security guards, people would hire your guards to guard their stores), Bar (but not a nightclub, just a bar where you can drink) 2). Vehicle wise, please add in a Mercedes Benz G-Wagon SUV, those things are cool! 3). Home decor and business decor, please add in RGB color strips and RGB color-changing lamps and light-bars for clubs and such.

This game make a lot of other games obsolete, all these supermarket managers/simulators and similar. I could live without the survival/sims aspect, it is really boring and repetitive. I hope it will be possible to turn it off and concentrate on the business side of the game only. edit: it now happened 4th time in 2 days when my computer shut down right after I started this game (~30% reproduction). While I find it unlikely that this game is causing such an issue, it is the only game so far and unless I can reproduce it with any other game/app this review will stay negative, because game launch should not shut down computer.
