Christmas Patchwork Frozen is a winter puzzle game with mosaic/tiffany style pieces. You start with a few correct pieces already laid in place for you, and on the right side you can grab the other pieces to complete it. For every completed puzzle you earn keys, and with those you unlock other worlds with new levels. The puzzle's get harder as you progress, and it makes it even more challenging when you keep the timer on. The game ran smooth, it did however crash a few times when I tried to make a screenshot. Thankfully no progress was lost afterwards. Overall, it's a fun game that also offers a decent amount of content to keep you busy for a while.

Christmas Patchwork Frozen is a basic mobile-app like jigsaw/mosaic puzzle game. Solve various puzzles by placing stained glass window/mosaic pieces onto an existing picture (picture stolen off the internet and used without crediting the copyright holder). It's been done a million times before, for free, and free on mobile app stores too... yet this one has a hefty price tag on it. Who knew you can just charge $5 for mobile trash? I guess Creobit/8Floor does. The asset flipper/"developer", Creobit/8Floor, has copy + pasted this game SIXTEEN TIMES onto Steam with minor reskins, and more stolen artwork... why cash in on one asset if you can cash in on multiple copies of the same game? Asset flipping begins at home! This asset flipper is responsible for polluting steam a whopping 353 times with copy + paste shovelware asset flips. Here's a list of Creobit's copy + pastes of this asset: [list] [*] Thanksgiving Day Mosaic [*] Mosaics Galore. Glorious Journey [*] Holiday Mosaics Hal...

(+) The art is fine. (-) Layout is poor. It isn't just 4:3, but the powerup buttons are obtrusively above the picture. Seems like a several years old engine. Do you like screenshotting? Well, you need to clear away the powerup buttons even with 45+ seconds left. (-) You must drag the pieces. Fixed years ago. (+) If you are just casual and ignore stars and powerups, it's usually nice. (-) The first worlds are rather simple, then by the 5th you regularly need 10 hints to get going, earned in twice as many completed levels. Or is it just bad RNG? Shouldn't be. So you practice the same puzzle 5-10 times, farm some cash and memorise the layout, then when it seems nice, you start spending. Alternatively, use a second screen with a screenshot. Or just replay the entire game 3-4 times. My record is 30 powerups on a single level, worth about 75 legit levels. ... By the way, the text on this store page is for a different game by the same publisher.

I got this for .49 cents USD on sale, and I'd honestly say that's a fair price, even with all the bells and whistles. Because there's a lot to love, like 120 puzzles with beautiful artwork. Hours of gameplay and a trophy rack. But there are also penalties for placing even a single piece wrong, even in casual mode. Seriously? And some of those trophies seem designed to pad out your playtime without adding fun or value. Think of having to grind for a million coins, and a trophy that requires you won the grindy coin trophy. Overall, it fits the trend of trying to make puzzles "exciting" by adding penalties, timers, etc. I guess to attract people who want more of an action aspect. But I just want no time limits, no penalties, and a group of puzzles to solve while I sip my coffee or tea. I'd actually uninstalled this game and went back in, but hour seven and puzzle 90 or so is when it stopped being fun for me. It felt like the puzzles switched from being pleasant Christmas time wasters...

I like this game, but I don't love this game. The pictures used in this game work well for this type of game, unfortunately, what should be simple game mechanics of drag and drop are so janky it's infuriating. Just hovering over the play area as you decide where a piece should go can cause the 'drop' sound to trigger even though you haven't released the piece yet, which is annoying if you're trying to keep all the achievements, since it only takes one 'mistake' to forfeit that achievement until you re-play that puzzle and hope that the game doesn't screw you up. That brings me to another issue that I hate with what should be a calm and relaxing game; you only get five pieces to play with at a time which are randomly generated and don't necessarily fit the existing pieces in the playing area, which means it's guess work as to where they're likely to go and you only need to drop it slightly away from where you think it should go for it to trigger as a mistake and thus forfeit the perfe...

Game won't launch. CTRL/ALT/DEL needed to get to task manager to close game. Validating files and restarting PC didn't change anything. YMMV

I played this game to relax, but it actually got really frustrating. Only 5 pieces are visible at a time, they are randomly generated, and they don't necessarily fit with existing pieces in the play area. This means you have to guess where a piece will go. Even dropping a piece a little bit away from where you want it to go triggers a mistake and loses your perfect score. It's annoying because you have to go back to the start screen before playing to see the whole picture. It's also annoying because sometimes it will mark you as having dropped a piece even though you're still dragging it. Not recommended for people who want perfection.

Yet another cheap themed time waster. It's perfectly functional, no crashes or bugs. Art is appealing, and the game works exactly how it looks.

I cannot recommend this mosaic game. While it does have the relaxed (no timer) mode, the pieces unfortunately do not adhere to your cursor when you click them. You have to hold in the mouse button for each piece which can become taxing on the wrists.

Very relaxing and enjoyable game with beautiful seasonal images. Perfect for playing idly while bingewatching cheesy Christmas movies. To get three gold keys for each level you do need to beat a timer, and make no mistakes, but if you don't care about those little keys it can be very relaxing. The only bug/glitch I encountered was that sometimes the game would register me as having dropped a piece while dragging it across the board, forcing me to start over if I wanted to complete it with no mistakes. I just wish it had steam achievements.
