One of the most underrated indie action platformers ever made. The art style, controls, sound design, gameplay mechanics, and performance are AAA for an indie game. That said, it's basically a metroidvania for kids. Backtracking is technically possible but the progression really follows a linear path so unless you missed one of the rare item upgrades, there is no point in going back at all. Gameplay mechanics are solid as hell, but again, this is really for kids. The only real challenge comes in the final two stages (Level 9 and 10) and even that is not really challenging by any serious challenge metric. This was a game clearly made with love for nostalgia and the simple art of retro gaming. I am quite happy with my experience because I knew what to expect and appreciate going in. As they say, this game does well what it is trying to do. No fancy bells and whistles, just excellent execution. There could have been more cutscenes to flesh out the story a bit more, but other than that, th...

I'm on area 4, nearly half way through the game. Is this the deepest, most complex groundbreaking game ever? No, however, it is fun. If you have played a previous title from the developer, Ammo Pigs, you can see how this game is an evolution of that. Ammo Pigs is a fun game, but a deeply flawed game mostly due to it's buggy nature. I can happily report that absent from this game. This game is a solid platformer with some mega man and metroid elements thrown in for good measure. I personally love the art direction and the music. As long as you are not looking for innovation, if you want a solid retro like title complete with difficulty and the occasional cheap death, then this one is an easy recommend.
Fun game with really, really good music. I hope this game gets a physical on consoles.
Pretty decent casual 2D platformer. Music and graphics are great, controls well with a controller. Would recommend to casual gamers. 3-4 hours of play time. Not much in terms of deep progression or levelling up. Still fairly enjoyable.
A cool retro game which brings old school memories from the SNES era To Praise: -Pixel art, Animations, Attention to details -Variety of levels, mini enemies, bosses -Music -Sound Effects To Consider: -A little bit repetitive -Even if you get into bonus areas, maximum gems collected can be 99 only -Main story could have more elements -Camera moves too fast when it shows the unlocked entrances -In a few times that I tried, when going back again to some entrances the game doesn’t continue, but still can listen to player’s weapon (MAC 10.15.4) Thanks for making the game, I had a good time playing it (Average time: > 3 hours)
