Criminally underrated collectathon

this game is a lot of fun. it fills the super-mario-galaxy-shaped hole in my heart, which has been left by a lack of nintendo switch/functional wii emulation. this one will have you learning how to chain together your moves, eventually using all of them for maximum efficacy to get Beebz from point A to Z. FYI, as the game opens on its own, it will show demon turf neon splash, which is immediately more difficult than original demon turf. if it seems too hard at the start, you might be trying to play the sequel first. 43 hours got me all the batteries in the first game, as well as beating the demon king and completing a decent amount of the photo challenges. highly recommended!

Game is really fun, I like the movement set

I enjoy the game and platforming. big issue I have with it is that it stuff with alot of collectiables that some are not fun to collect. This definitely does give you bang for you buck thanks to the three incredibles games in one.

One word; Controls. This game plays very poorly. Slipping off of platforms, sluggish in the air and just moving on the ground feels so weirdly sluggish. I had high hopes since seeing very positive reviews for the game but I'm on course to believe these people are just lying. Not a good first impression.

A fun little platformer. Charming style, controls are pretty tight, and every element and movement ability is generally pretty fun to interact with. It takes a unique approach to combat by making it a sort of puzzle. Your attacks don't actually do any damage, they shove enemies around, so you try to push them into hazards or off cliffs to kill them. Though, boss fights tend to be more standard. It has this unique and kind of interesting mechanic in that there aren't any actual checkpoints in the levels, you can place your OWN checkpoints practically wherever you want and travel between them. Though, once you've placed a checkpoint, you can't move it and you can only place three (not counting the first checkpoint which is at the start and automatic). I have mixed feelings about this. It seems cool on paper but in practice it kind of leads to these moments where you exhaust all of your checkpoints early on and then struggle later in the level, or hold onto them and wind up sometimes dyi...
