B0B0 is one of the Doppelgangers, twins born as perfect human beings fit to obey the purpose of the caste they were assigned to. Her purpose is to serve in the lowest caste for the prosperity of Saturn, but B0B0 doesn't quite agree to that. Amidst a revolution against the Saturnian Satellites, the ultimate form of law, B0B0 hears news of a newfound music robot that'll fit right in her illegal band as a drummer. Rebelling against the corrupt system using music is the only thing she knows how to do well and she only needed a drummer to join her pack of misfits. With every piece in place, she's out to break some laws, and discover the truth behind the essence of music, the Keylocker.

it's goofy and I like it [i] and [/i] it's good and I like it. I pick this game up when I want to take a break from being a surly hater and let silliness into my heart for a bit. I love this game. love the art, love the music, love the atmosphere, love the offbeat tone, love the PAINFULLY clunky, corny dialog whenever anyone is talking about their beliefs and ideologies/the structure of their society. i love my stupid piece of shit brother and his new idiot hat <3 "paper mario"-esque combat system in terms of the timed hits/dodges (with both general difficulty and timing separately adjustable), and a [i] lot [/i] of variety across classes and equipment, as well as application of that equipment, with the majority of your hardware having more than one utility, and the ability to switch between two loadouts: combat is really fun in this game. i used to dread the actual (guitar hero style, i think?) rhythm game sections, because i am a philistine who is terrible at rhythm games, but thank...
Come for the aesthetic, stay for the lore. There's a wide spectrum of characters and dynamics to explore in this fascinating world. I'm not into turn based combat or quick time events but had to keep playing, the writing, music, and exploration are really that good. And with how the mini games are implemented there's really like three different games here. Can't overstate how good the music is, and there's centuries of lore and history to uncover in this very realized world. And with multiple endings there's something new to discover every time you decide to pick it up.
