shapez is a low-stakes factory building game all about the automation of shapes production. Extract basic shapes with miners, cut them into segments and combine them into brand-new, unique shapes. Stack multiple layers of different shapes on top of each other & deliver them to the HUB to advance!
As you progress, new buildings are unlocked and the required shapes become more complex. Extract paint and use them to color your shapes. Spread out across the infinite sandbox to acquire different shapes and increase your production.
Leverage copy-paste tools to massively expand your factory as demand increases and shapes get more complex. Mix paint to create new colors, stack many layers of shapes and increase throughput as necessary. After all, it’s not an idle game!

i accidentally played this game for 9 hours on my first day, but i built a machine that delivers 20 perfectly oriented watermelon slices per second, so i've got that going for me, which is nice.

It's an extremely basic automation game, but it tickles my brain.
Nothing soothes my mind more than optimising my production line. Much more entertaining than I would've assumed. Highly recommend!

Fun little game, seems simple but you can make some really fun and complex machines with it. Coming up with my own design on a MAM was great fun. Managed to 100% the game, it didn't take 146 hours (current play time) most of that was leaving the game paused or in the menu as I was usually just jumping in to play twenty minutes here and there in the background to doing other things. The speed run was hard, at least for me I had to have a couple practices, Realise I kept forgetting stuff and just make a checklist of things to do instead. That helped a lot. Anyway good game, recommended.
Absolutely love this game but start making large factories to produce each thing as soon as possible in the beggining and avoid producing too close to the hub because it will start to clog and later levels you'll need a lot of shapez to beat I made this mistake.
A lot of fun creating assembly lines at your own pace without worrying about aliens or monsters. Create intricate assembly lines to complete tasks and level up. Very enjoyable game to play on your own schedule.
