OverShoot Battle Race

[h1] Lots of Potential on this one [/h1] after spending a lot of money on the big racing game names this christmas (and having them fail miserably on me), i decided to give this little guy a chance too... i always LOVED rock n' roll racing and was a part of the Brazilian Community of the game. and honestly... this here surprised me on how much polish and dedication by the maker it has. everything worked flawlessly to me. while not the most graphically demanded game in the world, the game shows that it was tested. and tested rigorously. zero issues so far (aside from the slightly nauseating overhead camera wich i got used pretty quickly). so... everything from the classic is here on this one: the rock n' roll on the races (generic, but honestly, surprisingly good soundtrack), the action, the explosions (albeit on a minor scale), and new mechanics like the drifting wich grants you the crucial nitro to stay ahead of the AI, the shield wich is usefull if you got good reflexes, and a ve...

As a big fan of the original RRR I had to try this one out, and I have to say, it won't let you down. Overall the game is very well produced and for an early access game, I could only find very few minor issues that won't reduce how much fun you will have. The soundtrack is really good and the visuals are absolutely stunning, merging this kind of low poly style with flashy colors and visual effects definitely worked very well. I only played alone but I assume it will be a blast playing online with my friends. There are a TON of customization you can do like shields, weapons, engine, breaks... And I raced against Easy NPCs and I would still finish in 4th or 5th for most of my first handful of races so if you like a bit of challenge like me, you found it! A tip for the developer: Add a settings menu to the in-race menu and make the tutorial skippable.

Amazing casual game. Looking at the screenshots one cant imagine how difficult it's to steer the cars while avoiding get shot. Really addicting. Couldn't find any bugs, showing how it's very well done for an "early access". I believe that is gonna be a great hit. -- Portuguese -- Jogo casual incrível. Olhando para as imagens, não dá para imaginar como é difícil dirigir os carros evitando levar um tiro. Muito viciante. Não foi possível encontrar nenhum bug, mostrando como é muito bem feito para um "acesso antecipado". Eu acredito que vai ser um grande sucesso.

⭐⭐⭐ It's a good game, but the soundtrack (a vital element in this genre) is very uninspired and some tracks don't fit the game at all.
