It's a classic premise - a massive subterranean scientific facility full of mysteries, with aliens bursting in from alternate universes to wreak havoc. The twist? You're one of those aliens. But you're not here to wreak havoc (collateral damage disregarded), you're just trying to get home. A difficult endeavor, as it turns out this facility is more than prepared to deal with extraterrestrial threats.
Explore the sprawling underground facilities of Planck Interdimensional's Quantum Reactor, filled with dark secrets, adorable drones, and parallel universes. You find yourself in the bowels of this machine after being whisked away from your home, and, armed with only the tools you can find, you must make your way to the surface, and the truth.
Face the challenge of escaping the depths of the Quantum Reactor.

For now it's a no from me. I understand it's an old remaster for an even older game. But it feels clunky, runs really bad compared to other VR games, with much better graphics. The story is kinda there in the background, but it feels like this is made for kids.
⭐ Overall impression
7/10 A must have for VR fans. Very creative and clearly made with passion. Hard to believe one person did almost all of this. Many people describe it as Half-Life meets Rick and Morty, and that’s a pretty good take. What really stands out is the variety of mechanics and creative ideas that keep surprising you. The game took me about 4.5 hours to complete, but I was also taking my time and looking around a lot. Still, it’s impressive, with large scale environments and dynamic combat. Even though they’re really simple in terms of mechanics, they’re fun. Highly recommend it for VR enthusiasts, definitely worth buying.
⚔️ Gameplay
First-person shooter, basically Half-Life in VR. You move linearly through the story, fight bosses along the way, and shoot enemies with different types of weapons, some puzzles to solve included. There’s also an upgrade tree, by the end of the game, if you don’t skip hidden on levels upgrades, you can a...
One of the best VR games I've ever played and I've played almost all of them at this point. Very fun, great graphics (though hard to run on a 7700xt at around 2400+ resolution) Maintained a steady frame rate but some parts dipped a little bit. Overall, a very well designed game. Short and sweet but plenty to explore and enjoy. The mechanics are well thought out and the flow of the game is near perfect. The only things that could have been better, Im sure they are aware. Lack of a clear narrative and character info is definitely something but what we get is definitely decent enough. Overall, I'd give this a 9/10 for what it is, not compared to other games. Fantastic adventure.
Absolutely amazing ! Also nice for anyone who like a game to introduce a sceptical person into vr gaming .
aye man, it's pretty freaking solid. i'm hearing that vertigo 2 is like 10x better but this was still really a fun game, basically just half life 1 in vr (story-wise at lease)
Sucks
Vertigo copies many features from half life 1, such as; fight bullet spongy and unreasonably accurate enemies, occasionally solve an easy and simple puzzle, explore simplistic environments, sometimes deal with obtuse parkour, and wait several hours for a small morsel of story, polygonal enemies, and a fanbase that is utterly convinced that the game is without flaws. all it is missing is a particularly bad pvp mode. the game does have some serious effort put into it, but it just feels like a chore to make any sort of progress. only play if you like arcade style games
REST IN PEACE BIG RICHARD
