A boss battle shooter with enjoyably weird retro graphics, but a couple things make me not recommend this: Very hard to track the bullets from the background, which is something that's absolutely essential for any good shmup. I also just don't like boss battle-only shooters. No score, no various enemies to mow down while working up to the boss, everything in the game is you vs. boss. Could have been so much better with standard shmup level design. 6/10

Would highly recommend this game for anyone that loves Boss Rush Style Bullet Hell/Rail Gunner games! The fights are evenly matched, and upgrades give you some advantage over the bosses! I had a blast playing the game, and you will too! The artwork is excellent, EGA style dithered backdrops, VGA sprites for the bosses and Seraph ship. The soundtrack is great too! Helps to focus the player on the task at hand!

Fun little boss rush shooter. Not too difficult. Can't go wrong if this is your jam.

Cyber Seraph is a short and sweet boss rush shmup that seems tame at first, but quickly evolves into a challenging shooter. Each boss's bullet patterns progressively become more and more complex as the player traverses through the game to the point where you have to play near perfect in order to progress. After defeating each boss, the player is rewarded with a few points to spend on upgrades (ie. speed boost, an assortment of missiles, drones to increase fire power, and a shield that gives the player a few extra hits). Overall this game is a ton of fun and was a really enjoyable challenge. I would love to see this same style applied to a classic level-based formula with enemies and all!

I usually don't have fun while playing shmups, but this one made me have fun. That is right. It made me do it. It was tough. I had to think my way through some of the bosses. I had to restart a few times and pick different upgrade routes. And it all was very rewarding to do. Brain was flooded with good feels after figuring out and defeating yet another boss ^_^ . I felt like I was learning and making important decisions after failed runs. Bosses would first beat me up, but I grew with each attempt and finally defeat them. Aside from insanely engaging gameplay this game also sports beautiful pixel art graphics with trippy, eerie and beautiful enemy and background design. And the music mmm top notch. Big thumbs up from a person who thought he was bad at these kinds of games (none of what I said meant that this is an easy shmup!).

A tough-as-nails, retro shmup, with an emphasis upgrades and boss pattern memorization. Really liked the pixelated boss designs and stage background. If you have some good reflexes, then I would recommend this cool bullet hell shooter!

This is a pretty fun game but I would love to see the developer tackle a "traditional" shoot em up that is not boss focused. :)

Do you want a retro bullet hell shooter that's all boss rush all the time? Look no further, because this be it. Sure, it's not perfect, but it's a solid amount of fun at a budget price.

Nice and short bossrush shmup. I really like the visual mixing esoteric and cosmic horror
