So this is like high on life, but actually funny and good.

Enjoyed it for the first few hours, but quickly felt like I had seen everything the game had to offer. The humour occasionally hits, but without feeling the "draw" of the gameplay, the constant interruptions and gags drove me to finally quit. Not a bad game by any means, but one that didn't resonate with me personally.

It's High On Life But If It Was Good

It’s a very frustrating game. They front load the first episode by throwing almost all the enemies you’ll encounter in the first mission throughout it and not spreading their introduction through the episode leading fights post that to just feel samey and just a mix match of the enemies you have been fighting. The only new one until episode 2 that is introduced is the saucer. The other issue with the first level is that is shows one of the issues that this game has that being that a level should end with either a boss, the honey or an arena not all 3 or even 2. another issue is while the checkpoint system for going for challenges or cards is nice, I often feel that the levels could’ve just been halved and not up to an hour and a half or more long. This would include halving the challenges between them. I also hate the amount of points of no return within the level, it makes me want to search all over before falling down and this is made worse on levels where a challenge requires ...

Bears in Space is out-of-this-world ridiculous and I loved every second of it. I spent hours paw-sitively blasting through zero gravity, wrestling with physics, and wondering how a bear even survives in a spacesuit without chewing on it. Every level had me floating, clawing, and launching into chaos, while enemies and obstacles got bear-ly a chance to survive my antics. The controls felt like a mix of “am I flying or falling?” and “why is my fur waving in space?”—but somehow that made every explosion and laser shot fur-bulous. By the end, I wasn’t just playing Bears in Space—I was grinning, growling, and utterly paw-sessed by the cosmic chaos, and I couldn’t stop laughing at the absurdity of it all.

I am bad at Bears In Space, but I'm having a good time regardless. Plumbing the levels for secrets and platforming around while shooting enemies is fun. I think if you like shooters, you will enjoy the gameplay. The big bosses are pretty cool and are the highlight of the bullet-hell style it's going for. Idk how else to describe why gun games are good so there. There are special sidequests to complete in every level. Some are as easy as pressing an obvious button, while others are platforming challenges, are hidden in the level somewhere, or require you to find an item in one place and bring it to another tucked-away location. Possibly a mix of those! Levels are also meant to be replayed once you get more stuff to complete them so expect to miss things. These secrets are fun to look for and give you money as a reward for your work, but since they often lead to joke-y sections your mileage with these will vary based on your sense of humor. As for a story, there isn't much. It's basic...
