7/10 A short but memorable experience. The most heartbreaking game I have played to date. 'A New Life' is an incredibly bittersweet, incredibly sad, and incredibly beautiful game. This is a romance story between two women, if that's not the sort of romance that suits you then this game may not be your style, though I would implore you to try it anyway. Note I: My copy had two broken achievements at the time of playing. Note II: If you're currently single this game may hit you like a freight train. Note III: If you're currently with somebody this game may hit you like a freight train for a completely different reason. My rating is semi-critical, but do not let that fool you. This is definitely a game worth picking up.
